| As the incidence of disease in our society reaches record highs time and time again,films about patients are attracting more and more attention.From the 2015 film Go Away Mr.Tumour in 2015,I’m Dying to Survive in 2018 and A Little Red Flower in 2020,all of them have achieved good box office results.This paper takes this opportunity to study the realism of patient films from three aspects: narrative construction,character building and video style.This paper is divided into five chapters.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which outlines the background and significance of the topic of this paper;in the second chapter,the narrative construction of patient films is explored in terms of the use of linear nested non-linear dual narratives,single perspective narratives to guide the audience’s visual focus,and the artistic expression of sound-enriched picture narratives.In the third chapter,the typical,diverse and humanistic portrayal of characters in patient films is analysed;in the fourth chapter,the creation of video styles in patient films is explored in terms of typical camera language and stylised video colour expression;finally,the creation is summarised and reflected upon. |
