| The rapid development of education informatization has led to the introduction of many modern information technologies into education and teaching,and the application of smart classrooms has received more and more attention from researchers,which is both an opportunity and a challenge for international Chinese teaching.This paper takes Chinese teaching for international students as an example,and investigates the current situation of applying smart classrooms in international Chinese teaching,including the teaching environment of smart classrooms,teachers’ IT ability,teaching practice and effect,and teachers’ attitude toward smart classrooms.Through the questionnaire survey and interviews with international Chinese teachers,we found that the application of smart classrooms in international Chinese teaching has achieved certain results:data-based teaching decisions,timely evaluation feedback,integrated communication and interaction,intelligent resource pushing,and personalized student counseling.However,there are also some problems,mainly including: the environment and facilities of smart classrooms need to be strengthened,the teaching effect of smart classrooms has not reached expectations,international Chinese teachers have different attitudes toward smart classrooms,and international Chinese teachers’ information literacy needs to be improved.To address these problems,this paper suggests four levels of measures: smart classroom developers,schools,international Chinese teachers and international students.At the level of smart classroom developers,technical support and professional guidance should be provided;different levels of learning needs should be supported.At the level of schools,they should pay attention to the infrastructure to ensure the Chinese teaching environment;improve the management system to enhance the effectiveness of Chinese classroom management;strengthen teacher training to improve the information literacy of Chinese teachers;integrate teaching resources to improve the Chinese teaching resource base.From the level of international Chinese teachers,teachers should change their concepts and actively use smart classrooms;actively participate in professional technology training;flexibly use smart classrooms by taking into account the learning situation;actively share their experiences and participate in the construction of Chinese teaching resource base.From the level of international students,students should actively adapt to the teaching mode of smart classrooms;resist the temptation of electronic products in smart classrooms;and become proficient in the functions of smart classrooms.It is hoped that the research in this paper will be useful for the research on the application of smart classrooms in international Chinese teaching,and provide new ideas and methods for the development of international Chinese teaching. |
