The Application Of Style And Technique In The Creation Of Traditional Folk Painting Works

With the improvement of public aesthetics,the improvement of people’s spiritual and cultural needs and the recognition of the characteristics of life in the traditional times,traditional genre painting,as a branch of traditional Chinese painting,has become one of the focuses of people’s attention at the present stage with its unique Chinese cultural narrative means and art display form.This topic takes "Shoucheng Style" as the main body to study the style and skills of traditional genre painting works,and on the basis of adding the artistic language and presentation skills of woodcutting,fully understand the cultural environment,guide the narrative picture and text combination and scene atmosphere creation,truly reflect the folk life of Shoucheng.This thesis takes the stylistic techniques of traditional folk art works as the theoretical starting point,takes the design of Shoucheng Folklore as the research object,and establishes the connection between traditional folk art and woodcut prints under the woodcut technique.On the one hand,the style and techniques of traditional folk painting works are analyzed and summarized,and application strategies are proposed.On the other hand,the presentation techniques of woodcut prints are summarized.Secondly,research the daily life,customs,ethnic customs and other themes of Shoucheng people,dig out its own symbolic connotation,and explore its narrative design.After that,based on the previous background research and reference analysis results,the unique painting techniques of genre paintings were applied to each stage of the design of "the design of Facts and Stories Shoucheng".Finally,the black and white woodcut prints are used as the presentation form of Facts and Stories Shoucheng,and the painting theme is determined according to the folklore information and current situation of Shoucheng,and the detailed design plan is proposed in terms of narrative,aesthetic and innovation,so as to expand the presentation form of woodcut prints in art design.
