Exploration And Attempt Of Dunhuang Mural Music And Dance Elements In Oil Painting Practice

Dunhuang murals have experienced dozens of dynasties for thousands of years,which is a huge treasure house of art,gathering the essence of traditional Chinese painting art.Dunhuang music and dance is a relatively important part of Dunhuang murals.The style and characteristics of music and dance presented in each period are also different.The study and recreation of the elements of music and dance in Dunhuang murals is of great significance to the excavation and inheritance of Dunhuang culture.At present,many scholars regard the elements of music and dance as one of the important fields of study in the process of studying Dunhuang murals.The famous dance master Lin Huaimin has also proposed the idea of integrating Dunhuang music and dance elements into modern dance.Inspired by this,can we apply this idea into the creation of this graduation work? The elements of Dunhuang music and dance contain many people’s aesthetic appreciation of the artistic styles of traditional dance culture,such as "long sleeve good dance" and "elegant man".In the process of oil painting creation,it is one of the main tasks of this paper to make good use of Western techniques to show the artistic style of such traditional elements of Chinese music and dance.First of all,this paper discusses the visual images of flying dancer and rebound pipa in the musical dance elements of Dunhuang murals,and analyzes the display of their artistic creation possibilities in all aspects.Secondly,I understand the creation status of Dunhuang murals music and dance elements in contemporary oil painting creation in China,and combine the understanding of other scholars and painters on the elements of Dunhuang murals music and dance to further provide some inspiration for my own creation.I mainly explore and practice the colors,lines,composition of the elements of Dunhuang murals music and dance as well as the atmosphere that the elements of music and dance can create in the picture.On this basis inspired their own creation.Finally,through the reference and exploration of Dunhuang fresco music and dance elements to further integrate his own oil painting exploration,from the pattern decoration,line design,color shaping of the elements of Dunhuang fresco music and dance oil painting creation and extension.Dunhuang music and dance elements themselves in Dunhuang murals can play a prominent role in the subject of the scene,strengthen the color contrast of each element and enrich the content of the murals themselves,while the music and dance elements behind Dunhuang murals actually highlight the flourishing national power of the Tang Dynasty and the communication with the outside world.The dance movements of Dunhuang music dance are mostly the coordination of arms,shoulders and heads,and the dance is graceful and light.In terms of Musical Instruments,such as Konghou,dizi,huqin,dulcqin,etc.,the melody was beautiful and rich in the characteristics of western culture,so the author in order to effectively highlight the modern integration of the elements of music and dance,the image of a modern dancer and the elements of music and dance in Dunhuang artfully combined,to build a music and dance scene across the ancient and modern,at the same time in terms of expression,In order to restore the performance techniques of traditional Dunhuang murals as far as possible,the original background of Dunhuang murals is restored by combining the creative techniques of comprehensive materials.The texture of oil painting fabric and silver foil material are used to strengthen the color texture of the background.At the same time,after the completion of painting,the local fine loess of Dunhuang is used to cover the surface of the oil painting to form a unique Dunhuang characteristic picture sense.The author modernizes the elements of Dunhuang music and dance and creates them in the form of decorative paintings,which integrates the characteristics of local culture.The author tries to organically integrate the lines,colors,compositions,materials and other artistic elements of Dunhuang murals with the main dancers,highlighting the enduring popularity of Dunhuang music and dance culture.Finally,the conclusion summarizes the article as a whole.In the creation of Dunhuang music and dance frescoes,we should not only borrow the simple pattern form,but also understand the historical and humanistic implication behind it.Moreover,we should absorb the nourishing of humanistic spirit,so that it can continuously produce deeper meaning in the analysis and research,and finally get sublimation.It is necessary to choose and transform local cultural elements reasonably,and associate them with one’s own learning orientation,and add personalized forms of expression.Art works should not only have the characteristics of local culture,but also have their own characteristics.
