Dunhuang Frescoes Study In Traditional View Of Yinyang And Five Elements Theory

Mural art is an art field through shaping and drawing forms to express humanemotions or ideas. The Dunhuang frescoes are the most representative works of Chineseancient murals, and are also closely related to China traditional culture. In this paper, therelationship between the Dunhuang frescoes and China traditional theory of Yin-Yang andfive elements was deep analysed from the traditional culture essence of Chinese—Yin-Yang five elements theory as the perspective, and a large number of copying theDunhuang frescoes as the means.The aesthetic value of the Yin-Yang five elements theory was discussed starting fromthe basic theory of Yin-Yang and five elements.
