With the rapid development of China’s social, political and economic, more and more young and middle-aged workers have entered the cities, and a special group of minors, left behind children, has also emerged in remote areas. The left behind children are in a critical period of growth and development. They cannot enjoy the care of their parents and the guidance and help of their values. They show many problems such as personalized behavior, deviation of values, bad learning habits, etc.,which lead to abnormal psychological development in the long run.According to an authoritative survey, the number of left behind children in China has exceeded61 million(equivalent to the total British population),and more than half of them have psychological problems of varying degrees [1].To sum up,it is urgent to solve the problem of left behind children’s lack of education. In this context, this paper uses the methods of literature research, questionnaire survey and dialogue interview to study the current situation of left behind children and the characteristics of narrative picture books, and analyzes how to solve the existing problems of left behind children through narrative education picture books.Through the analysis of left behind children and market demand,it is concluded that left behind children have three major problems: learning habits, personality and behavior, and values. The original picture book,Warm You,combined with typical cases, tells the story of the left behind children,Xiao Xi(pseudonym),who, with the help of teachers, friends and family members, has established a "history of growth and evolution" in three aspects of learning habits, personality and behavior, and values,so that the left behind children can read this picture book to self heal while increasing the social attention to the left behind children.
