| The successful holding of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games has injected new vitality and vitality into the creation and development of sports documentaries.Sports documentaries have gained more attention and audiences than before.With the continuous development of sports documentary,the focus of sports documentary gradually breaks through the single perspective of "gold medal theory" and "winning glory for the country",and begins to pay attention to the living state of sports personnel,showing their inner humanistic connotation,national belief and personality charm.In terms of the selection of themes and characters,it is also closer to the lives of ordinary people,showing the extraordinary sports stories of ordinary people in their ordinary lives,so that the public can feel the pleasure and freedom brought by sports.It is of great theoretical significance and humanistic value to dig deeply into the humanistic spirit of sports documentary and arouse the audience’s thinking on the meaning and value of human life.Based on narratology,realism and other theories,this thesis comprehensively uses literature research method,case analysis method and comparative analysis method to analyze the construction and expression of humanistic spirit in sports documentaries from various aspects such as characters,narration and audio-visual language.Further reveal the meaning of life and social value of sports people themselves.The thesis mainly includes four parts:In the first part,in the introduction and the first chapter,the background and significance of the construction of the humanistic spirit of sports documentary as well as the relevant research at home and abroad are combed,the definition of the concept of sports documentary and the definition and connotation of the humanistic spirit are clarified,and the theoretical basis used in this thesis is pointed out.The second part discusses how sports documentary refines humanistic spirit through character shaping.Firstly,this thesis expounds that "humanistic spirit" is the core value of sports documentary,and then explores the humanistic spirit of the characters from the aspects of life attitude,fate ups and downs and feelings of home and country.Taking team,athletes and ordinary people as examples,the author discusses the humanistic values and values of the characters.The third part discusses how sports documentary builds humanistic spirit in narrative based on narratology theory.In the narrative perspective,humanistic spirit is presented from the perspective of omniscience and internal perspective,so as to realize the emotional resonance of ordinary groups from the perspective of civilians.The humanistic spirit is further refined through narrative elements such as contradiction,details and suspense.At the same time,the narrative space is used as the carrier to construct the human space and spiritual world of characters.The fourth part analyzes how sports documentary presents humanistic spirit with audio-visual language combined with documentary theory.By combining the sports shot,close-up shot and long shot in visual language and the music,interview and commentary in auditory language,the depth and breadth of the humanistic spirit in sports documentary are expanded.From the perspective of humanity,it is not only the significance of sports documentary research,but also the focus of all subject documentaries to pay attention to people’s living conditions,construct and express humanistic spirit,and pursue the value and significance of people’s life.Sports documentary is gradually precipitating progress,with its own rich artistic tension and unique humanistic spirit usher in the era of sports documentary. |
