| Zhu Zi attaches great importance to the concept of "Honesty",and takes "Honesty" as the hub of the whole chapter.On the basis of respecting and playing the original meaning of "Honesty" in the original test of The Doctrine of the Mean,he interprets "Honesty" with "truth without false" and combines "Honesty" with "Li".While taking "Honesty" as the origin of the principle of heaven,he also regards it as the natural nature of humanity,highlighting the subject postion of human.With "Honesty" as a link,he connects heaven and man,and applies his own unique neo-Confucianism system to "Honesty" in the Doctrine of the Mean Futher explanation is given.This paper is based on Zhu Zi’s commenty on The Doctrine of the Mean and Zhu Zi’s Neo-confucianism interpretation of the traditional Confucian concept of "Honesty" as the specific research object,and discusses Zhu Zi’s understanding of "Honesty" in the book.Specifically speaking,there are the following contents:Firstly,this paper traces the concept of "Honesty" from the emergence of "Honesty" to the connotation of "Honesty" and the connotation of "Honesty" from the perspective of the relationship between man and man.Secondly,this paper focuses on Zhu Zi’s interpretation of "Honesty" in The Doctrine of the Mean,Zhu Zi,while respecting the original meaning of the Mean,divided "Honesty" into "the nature of nature" and "the nature of personnel".Starting from the characteristics of sincerity of heaven,which is not two things,sincerity without interest and sincerity to the utmost,he constructed a metaphysical basis for the sincerity of humanity.Zhu Zi pays more attention to the role of humanity.He regards the sincerity of saints as the highest state that people can achieve.He sees the possibility of realizing the sincerity of humanity from the same point of view of the saints and the principles of heaven,and puts forward the cultivation method to achieve "sincerity".Thirdly,this article from Zhu Zi’s "Honesty" has the meaning of heaven and man,transition to Zhu Zi’s "sincerity" of "reality" meaning.Because no matter the nature of the nature or personnel should be,are the "sincerity" of the "true without false" embodiment and achievement.The meaning of this "reality" can be explained respectively from the ontology of the reality,the mind of the reality,the practical theory of time.At the same time,Zhu Zi also criticizes the Buddhism and Taoism with the "truth without false" of the "honest" body.Nature and human righteousness and true righteousness together constitute the logical structure and basic content of Zhu Zi’s "Honesty".Finally,this paper discusses the value of "honesty" in Zhu Zi’s Zhangju on The Doctrine of the Mean,in modern and contemporary times.The thought of "honesty" embodied by Zhu Zi in the Zhangju on The Doctrine of the Mean,is of certain value to the spiritual aspect of modern human beings and the ecological aspect of modern society.To sum up,through the interpretation of the connotation of "Honesty" in the Zhangju on The Doctrine of the Mean,the overall connotation of "Honesty" of Zhu Zi can be more deeply and comprehensively grasped,which is not only helpful to better understand Zhu Zi’s neo-Confucianism,but also can serve the reasonable construction of modern spiritual civilization and ecological civilization. |
