| The Ming Dynasty was another important period in the history of Chinese painting academies after the Song Dynasty painting academies,and was another prosperity after the glory of the Song Dynasty flower-and-bird painting.As the first important courtyard flower-and-bird painter after the Song and Yuan dynasties,Bian Jingzhao’s works not only inherited the artistic richness of the Five Dynasties and the Two Songs,but also absorbed the literati interest in the paintings of the Yuan Dynasty,and changed the soft impression of the courtyard flower-and-bird paintings of the Southern Song Dynasty.His works also showed a frank bearing in the artistic richness.Fang Xun in the Qing Dynasty commented that his works were "very bold".Although his creation was limited by the emperor’s aesthetics,he still flickered in the Ming Dynasty painting world with superb skills and extraordinary aesthetic interest,which had a profound impact on the Ming Dynasty flower and bird painting.In our study of the ancients,we should also absorb the essence of our predecessors,forge ahead and innovate on the basis of inheriting them,and create a self-style that is in line with the times.This paper mainly discusses the background and origin of Bian Jingzhao painting language,artistic characteristics,aesthetic orientation and inspiration to the author’s creation.The first part analyzes the background of the formation of Bian Jingzhao painting language and the origin of the flower and bird painting in the Ming Dynasty.The second part analyzes the artistic features of flower and bird paintings in the style of Bianjingzhao courtyard from the aspects of composition,subject matter,techniques and color.The third part through the analysis and study of Bian Jingzhao’s flower and bird painting aesthetic orientation,feeling and summing up the nature and creation ideas expressed in his flower and bird painting.The fourth part mainly expounds the author through the analysis and exploration of Bian Jingzhao painting language,absorb the creative ideas contained in it,and then apply them to the creation. |
