| Lv Ji is one of the representative figures of Ming Dynasty flower and bird painting,and also a representative figure with inheritance and exemplary value in Ming Dynasty palace painting.He,along with other figures such as Bian Jingzhao and Lin Liang of the same period,are crucial figures in the development history of Chinese flower and bird painting.The Ming Dynasty courtyard style of flower and bird painting,represented by Lv Ji,opened up a new form of flower and bird painting,which had a profound influence in later generations and was followed by many imitators.Due to Lv Ji’s courtyard style flower and bird paintings inheriting the fine tradition of "vivid portrayal" and "combination of form and spirit" from the Song Dynasty courtyard style paintings in terms of techniques,and embodying the grand and elegant atmosphere of palace painting in terms of aesthetics,the creation and inheritance are orderly,the skills are exquisite,the meaning is meaningful,and the new ideas are repeated,occupying a relatively important position in the history of Ming Dynasty painting.This article mainly discusses the artistic language of Lvji’s flower and bird paintings,focusing on the analysis and elaboration of the main characteristics,performance and impact on future generations and contemporary paintings of Lvji’s flower and bird paintings artistic language.The article is divided into four parts.The first part focuses on the formation of Luji’s artistic language of flower and bird paintings;The second part mainly analyzes the formal characteristics of the artistic language of Luji’s flower and bird paintings from the aspects of composition,statue,pen and ink,and breath;The third part mainly elaborates the aesthetic orientation contained in the artistic language of Lvji’s flower and bird paintings from three aspects: aesthetic implication,aesthetic mood and aesthetic taste;The fourth part mainly discusses the influence of Lu Ji’s flower and bird painting artistic language.Through systematic combing and research,and with the help of textual research(method),evidence(method),and analysis(method)of literature,this paper points out that Lu Ji’s flower and bird painting artistic language not only has a comprehensive and clear learning,but also has a fresh vitality,and further believes that the painting style of integration of work and writing has a very important contrast and inspiration value for the creation of fine brushwork painting that lacks "freehand brushwork spirit" at present.In view of the current academic research on Lvji flower and bird paintings,there is still a lack of academic achievements to discuss and draw conclusions from the perspective of artistic language.Therefore,this paper’s thematic research on Lvji flower and bird paintings artistic language not only has a new attempt in research perspective and methods,but also has reached new views and conclusions in a certain degree.However,contemporary scholars’ multifaceted discussions on Lv Ji’s flower and bird paintings in the form of monographs,papers,and many valuable viewpoints are very helpful for the research of this article.Based on the above research results and combined with my own painting experience,the author analyzes the formal language of Lv Ji’s flower and bird paintings from the perspective of a practitioner,and discusses the relevant issues of Lv Ji’s painting at the technical level using the method of "painters talking about painting".Combining with the latest research results,the author proposes corresponding viewpoints to enrich the academic achievements in the field of Lv Ji’s flower and bird painting research,I hope this article has some inspiration for the current creation and development of flower and bird paintings. |
