Abstract/Summary:
As a scholar from the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China,Luo Zhenyu has made outstanding achievements in Oracle bone inscriptions,epigraphy,archaeology,Dunhuang studies,philology and other fields all his life,and has compiled and published a large number of works,which has also made great contributions to the preservation and circulation of precious historical materials in China.Scholar calligraphers in the Republic of China devoted themselves to academic research,and regarded calligraphy as a spare matter.They adhered to the concept of using books,trusting books and taking books as pleasure.Their calligraphy art was fresh and elegant,with a strong academic atmosphere and literary popularity,and Luo Zhenyu was one of the most representative scholar calligraphers among many scholars.Based on the comprehensive analysis of Luo Zhenyu’s academic and calligraphy practice and literature,this thesis explores the literati nature of scholars’ calligraphy in the Republic of China.This thesis is divided into four parts:the first part is the basis of the topic,the purpose and significance of the research,the present situation and methods of the research.The second part mainly expounds the social background from the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China and Luo Zhenyu’s family background and life.Among them,the concept of scholar calligraphy is defined and discussed,and the scholar calligraphers in the Republic of China are classified according to their different research fields,that is,scholars who study epigraphy and ancient philology,poetry,literature and history,and those who pay attention to education and social politics,and their calligraphy styles are analyzed.The third part mainly discusses Luo Zhenyu’s academic achievements and friends.In the process of making friends with many scholars,it is of great benefit to learn and communicate with friends.In addition,by analyzing the artistic styles of Oracle Bone Inscriptions,regular script,official script and cursive script,Roche,with his profound learning and solid calligraphy skills,turned the past into me and absorbed the book into my spirit,forming an elegant and quiet calligraphy style.The fourth part mainly discusses the cultural,artistic and ideological nature of scholars’ calligraphy in the Republic of China.Among them,culture or the power of culture is a very important condition to measure calligraphy works.Works that lack cultural nourishment will be more"artisan";The artistry is mainly discussed from three characteristics:elegance,dilution and elegance.The writer not only needs to have profound learning and cultivation,but also maintains a peaceful mind,which is not bound by foreign objects,thus naturally revealing the ancient,elegant and elegant artistic style in his works.The lofty ideal and profound thought are the essence of cultural calligraphy,and the height and depth of thought determine the meaning of calligraphy,which is an important standard to measure the cultural value of calligraphy.As an outstanding scholar in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China,Luo Zhenyu’s calligraphy achievements are a microcosm and window of scholars’calligraphy in the Republic of China.The literati,artistry and ideology of his calligraphy are the peak of the times and history of China’s calligraphy culture spirit,which has important enlightenment significance for the inheritance and development of our calligraphy culture today.
