A Study Of Langzhong Dance Grass Dragon Culture From The Perspective Of Folklore

The promulgation and implementation of the strategy of making China a cultural power not only speeds up the recovery and development of Chinese excellent traditional culture,but also effectively speeds up the pace of expanding the development scale of national traditional sports.In this new development situation,the development of folk sports culture in ethnic traditional sports has been paid attention to again,and has quickly become a hot spot of academic research.As an important form of folk sports,the folk dragon dance culture is concerned by the academic circles because it carries the profound cultural deposits of Chinese dragon culture and farming culture.At present,researches on dragon dance culture mainly discuss the social and cultural mechanism of its generation and development from sociology,culturology and other disciplines,showing a research trend of "upward excess and downward insufficiency",and seldom explain the motivation and cultural representation of its folk culture from folklore.Therefore,guided by the theory of folklore,this paper adopts the research methods of field investigation,in-depth interview and documentation,and takes the dance grass-dragon movement of Langzhong Bridge Tower,the birthplace of festival culture,as the research object,to clarify the cultural background,cultural form structure and ritual presentation of the survival of the movement.To promote the preservation and innovative development of the cultural skill of the grass-dragon movement at Langzhong Bridge Tower not only has theoretical and practical significance for the development of the folk dragon dance culture,but also has theoretical and practical significance for the development of traditional national sports.According to the study:1)Langzhong’s formative background: The formative background of the movement of Zhongwu Grass Dragon is an important base point for studying its difference from other village’s Dragon movement,which is mainly reflected in three aspects: the geographical background of local farming,the humanistic background of the cultural invention of Luo Hong and New Year Festival,and the belief background from farming sacrifice to folk life.2)Investigation on the utensmaking skills of Langzhong Wucao Dragon: The utensmaking skills of Langzhong Wucao Dragon are an important part of the culture of Langzhong Wucao Dragon,and a process of"materializing"the intangible cultural heritage.In general,this production technique mainly includes three aspects:local knowledge of grass dragon bamboo and grass selection,production and cultural connotation of grass dragon head and beads,and production and cultural expression of grass dragon body and tail.3)Analysis of the athletic skill of Langzhong Wucao Dragon: The athletic skill form of Langzhong Wucao Dragon has a strong folk color of Qiaolou Township as a whole,and has a unique artistic form different from the modern technical mode of dragon dance.During the long life and production practice,the descendants of the dragon dance in Qiaolou Township,through continuous cultural improvement and innovative development,have formed a unique skill mode of Langzhong’s movement,exhibiting the overall features of "form and technique feeling","bead and head meeting" and "body and tail integrated".Thus,Langzhong Wugrass-dragon movement possesses cultural "heterogeneity" which is different from other dragon dance systems.4)Manifestation of the folk life of Langzhong Wucao Dragon: In the process of inheritance of hundreds of generations,Langzhong’s grass-dragon movement has been constantly doing its own cultural adaptation,endowing it with diversified forms,including three aspects,namely the grass-dragon movement in festival,the grass-dragon movement in folk worship and the grass-dragon movement in social performance,which greatly expands the functional space of the movement.5)The inheritance dilemma and relaxation of Langzhong Wucao Dragon culture: the contemporary development of the movement of Langzhong Wucao Dragon is currently faced with the inheritance of the main body of Langzhong Wucao dragon,namely the loss of inheritance population,inheritance environment changes,improper inheritance methods and so on;Langzhong Maiosaurus is deficient in innovation,namely,the persistence of traditional skills,the lack of innovation consciousness and the lack of application of new technologies.Langzhong Wucao Dragon folk activity is not well known,namely the development difficulties such as regional restrictions,lack of publicity,modernization and urbanization.In this regard,it is considered that the movement of Langzhong Bridge grassdragon should respond positively to the call of the construction of cultural power and the revival of traditional culture,and relieve the current dilemma by establishing inheritance institutions,encouraging innovation and improving the popularity and influence of Langzhong grassdragon.
