Research On The Construction Of Transportation Defense Construction By The Chinese Institution Of Engineers During The War Of Resistance Against Japan

The "Chinese Institution of Engineers(earlier)" founded in 1912 and the "Chinese Engineering Society" founded in 1917 were merged into the Chinese Institute of Engineers in 1931.During the War of Resistance Against Japanese,learn with the national government moved to the rear front,actively engaged in the rear construction,service wartime war engineering construction,engaged in scientific research and engineering personnel training activities,formed the unique engineering construction concept,promote the construction of the southwest northwest rear,research and development and solve the rear technology and development problems,contributed to the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese.Therefore,this paper investigates and studies the contributions and activities of the Chinese Society of Engineers to China’s construction of national defense transportation,especially the contributions and activities during the War of Resistance Against Japanese.First of all,the paper summarizes the Chinese Institution of Engineers(earlier)and the Chinese Engineering Society from 1912 to 1931 to 1931,and explores the basic and foundational role of the institute in the development of transportation in modern China from the origin and flow.Secondly,in the 14 years of the War of Resistance Against Japanese,since the merger of the Chinese Institute of Engineers,the mobilization of the society,the cooperation with the national government,and the development and transformation of the transportation construction thought of the members of the Society.It also explored the Japanese preparation activities of the Institute from 1935 to 1938,mainly for the continuous frontier investigation and the publication of the increasing maturity and systematic analysis of the national defense transportation thought,namely the formation and development of the theory of "traffic defense".It focuses on the border investigation of the association,the development,development branch,and the post-war traffic reconstruction planning,revealing the contributions in the rear development and transportation construction,solving the wartime engineering and technical problems,and helping the victory and the post-war reconstruction.It is concluded that the Chinese Society of Engineers has implemented the concept of "traffic defense" into various transportation undertakings.Participation and recommendations of the national defense traffic planning and construction is the Chinese institute of engineers is different from other remarkable characteristics of science and technology society,its related activities marked the period of Chinese engineer group began to independently planning our national defense engineering construction,also shows the engineering community in the unique contribution of the rear development construction.
