Study On Enlightenment Consciousness Of Novels Writing In The Rear Area

All along, the academe on the understanding of literature has a "national salvation overwhelming enlightenment" misunderstanding, the anti-Japanese war literature by the environmental impact of war is invariably filled with the smell of gunpowder in the fighting and the exciting encouraged, the most of significant enlightenment consciousness in the new literature has disappeared since the May Fourth Movement.Based on the Rear Area novels during the anti-Japanese war, I found the Rear Area literature did not give up mission of enlightenment because of national salvation, "Salvation" and "Enlightenment" of the proposition are not against with each other, they exists together in the creation of the Rear Area literature. In the context of a new war, the causes of enlightenment consciousness, the manifestation of enlightenment consciousness, the characteristics of enlightenment consciousness also have different representation. This article studies on enlightenment consciousness of novels writing in the Rear Area during anti-Japanese war from above three aspects, which prove the existence of "enlightenment" and enrich knowledge about war literature.First of all, the lag Rear Area needs enlightenment to change the status quo of the social and cultural, the establishment of new cultural center during the war creates the conditions for the enlightenment, the literature mission of writers promote their creation direction to "Salvation" and "Enlightenment", which are the reasons of enlightenment consciousness in Rear Areas arose and expanded. Secondly, the idea of women liberation and the criticism of national character and self-enlightenment toward intellectuals these three aspects constitute manifestations of consciousness enlightenment in novels writing. The close reading and analysis of the novel text to show the direction of literature in the Rear Area is not "national salvation overwhelming enlightenment", enlightenment consciousness in lite rature either explicitly or implicitly represented. Furthermore, enlightenment consciousness always existed in the new literature has different forms at different times, so there are some new sense of enlightenment qualities in the war area, such as the integration personal enlightenment with national salvation. In order to save the national salvation effectively, that must be enlightenment; while enlightenment to some extent greatly contributed to the anti-Japanese national salvation. The dark reality of the Rear Area provides enlightenment with the exposure characteristics, by exposure to reflect the situation of irrational and the source of dark reality.
