| The number of bronzes unearthed in the Hengshui Cemetery and the Dahekou Cemetery is considerable, and the inscriptions are rich in content. However, due to the limited published data, the research on the inscriptions of the Peng State and the Ba State is still blank. This paper uses the existing catalogue data to study the bronzes and inscriptions unearthed in the two cemeteries. The full text is divided into six parts:Chapter One: Introduction. This paper briefly combs and summarizes the research status of Hengshui cemetery,Dahekou cemetery and bronze inscriptions, and introduces the reasons, research theories, objects, contents, and explains the related problems.Chapter Two: The type analysis of the glyph of Peng Ba bronze inscriptions.Using the typology method, the glyphs of 16 high-frequency single characters in the inscriptions are divided into types, and the evolution trend of each type is summarized.Chapter Three: The study of Peng Ba bronze inscriptions. It is divided into two parts:1.Figure research.Based on the study of glyph typology, the glyphs of high-frequency single characters are divided into two periods and four sections, and the glyph characteristics of each period are summarized. On the basis of stage division, the representative glyphs are selected and compared with the glyphs of the "standard inscriptions" with dynastic significance, and the age of the period or the reign of the Western Zhou Dynasty is presumed. The age of the bronzes and tombs is determined by the lower limit of the bronze inscriptions, and compared with the existing research conclusions.2.Book style research.According to the research conclusion of the shape and age of bronze inscriptions, this paper summarizes the characteristics of the evolution of the bronze inscriptions in each period from three aspects: the layout of the line, the writing style and the text format.Chapter Four: Studies the relationship between Peng Ba inscriptions and tombs. It is divided into three parts: 1.Grade relationship between bronze inscriptions and tombs.Considering the number of burial tripods, the number of bronze ritual vessels, the number and content of inscriptions, this paper divides 67 bronze ritual tombs into four grades, and there are obvious differences in status and specifications among them. From the perspective of population level distribution, the Ba State presents a pyramid-shaped hierarchical structure, while the Peng state presents a rugby-shaped hierarchical structure.2.The relationship between bronze inscriptions and burial rites. From the three perspectives of the type of inscription, the gender of the tomb owner, and the combination of objects, the burial system reflected by the inscription bronzes is discussed. The research shows that the aristocrats of the two countries mostly use food utensils as the carrier of inscriptions, among which the inscription wine utensils have the function of marking the tombs of high-level male aristocrats;in the tombs of high-grade aristocrats, the matching of bronze Ding+Gui+Yan,Zun+You and Pan+He is relatively fixed and complete. The combination of one pan and one he appears in the tombs of all grades of aristocrats. In the tombs of low-grade aristocrats, there are only one pot or one cast inscription, which has the function of identifying the tombs of low-grade aristocrats.3.The relationship between bronze inscriptions and cemetery zoning.Starting from the burial location of the bronze ritual tombs, the cemetery area is divided. The research shows that the tomb area divided by the concentrated cast-inscription bronze ritual tomb group as the center and the chariot pit, blank area and special pottery tomb as the boundary markers is reasonable for the division of the Shang and Zhou cemeteries with simple ethnicity. At the same time, the division differences reflected by the ancestors of the two places in the burial system can support the conclusion that the Hengshui cemetery and the Dahekou cemetery belong to two different types of the same culture.Chapter Five: Examines the production system of bronzes and inscriptions of Peng Ba.By analyzing the source of mineral materials, casting sites, regional characteristics and the phenomenon of ’same inscription’ text of the unearthed bronzes,it is confirmed that the people in the two cemeteries have the ability to cast bronzes independently, and there is a possibility that the inscription text is written by many people, which is the root of the complex and changeable shape of the inscriptions.Chapter Six: Conclusion.Summarize the full text. |
