In the background of deepening globalization,the Belt and Road Initiative has been developing extensively,and 81 countries have incorporated Chinese language into their national education systems,and the demand for Chinese language teachers has also shown new characteristics.In order to better and more targeted cultivate local Chinese language teachers who truly love Chinese language education and are willing to engage in Chinese language teaching,so that they can truly become a bridge for China to connect and interact with the world.With the help of Ajzen’s theory(TPB),this paper conducts an in-depth investigation and analysis of foreign students majoring in TCSOL in Southeast Asia by means of questionnaires and interviews.The conclusion shows that there are many and complex factors affecting the willingness of overseas students majoring in TCSOL in Southeast Asia to engage in Chinese language teaching;The willingness of overseas students to engage in Chinese teaching has changing and developing;The willingness of overseas students to engage in Chinese teaching is divorced from their real behavior.Other findings are mainly reflected in the poor effect of online teaching;The overseas students’ cultural experience is not enough,and their impression of culture is rigid and unilateral;The training of overseas students is insufficient,and their knowledge and skills are not enough to be a Chinese teacher.In order to improve the willingness of overseas students to engage in Chinese teaching,we puts forward suggestions from the aspects of professional training of overseas students,college enrollment publicity,cultural teaching and practice management.This study is mainly divided into five parts: The first part is the introduction part,which mainly includes the reason and significance of the topic,previous research results,research methods and innovations,as well as the introduction of the theoretical basis;The second part is mainly about the investigation and research ideas and research methods involved in the research and design process;The third part presents the survey results and analysis of relevant influencing factors by conducting questionnaires and interviews with overseas students majoring in TCSOL in Southeast Asia;The fourth part is the findings and relevant suggestions of this survey;The last part is a summary and reflection based on the whole research.
