| Red tourism is an emerging tourism product evolving from revolutionary traditional education,a tourism product with unique Chinese characteristics,which also has leisure tourism function with political,economic and cultural values while ideological education,and gradually becomes a major highlight of the tourism industry.In July 2019,the ninth meeting of the Central Committee for Comprehensively Deepening Reform considered and adopted the "Great Wall,Grand Canal and Long March National Cultural Park Construction Program",which means that the construction of red culture with the theme of the Long March is officially opened in the country.The construction of a national cultural park with the theme of the Long March in the context of the new era is a programmatic instruction to protect the heritage and promote the red culture,which points out the direction for the development of red tourism and provides a new perspective for the development of red tourism.The construction of national cultural park of the Long March is not only a cultural construction project for the red tourism destinations with the historical background of the Long March,but also a livelihood project to promote the development of local red tourism.Huining County of Gansu Province is one of the important node cities in the construction of the Long March National Cultural Park and a typical representative area of red culture in Gansu Province,and the construction of the Long March National Cultural Park has injected new momentum into the development of red tourism in Huining County.This paper takes the red tourism development in Huining County in the context of the construction of Long March National Cultural Park as the research object,and defines the concepts of Long March National Cultural Park and red tourism by combing the relevant literature on national parks,Long March National Cultural Park and red tourism at home and abroad.Based on the growth pole theory,point-axis system theory,sustainable development theory and life cycle theory of tourist places,the county profile of Huining County and the main red tourism resources and the importance of research are sorted out and summarized through field research and literature reading,and further combined with the results of tourists’ questionnaire analysis on the development of red tourism in Huining County under the background of the construction of Long March National Cultural Park The advantages and problems of red tourism development in Huining County in the context of the construction of the Long March National Cultural Park are summarized.It is found that the red tourism development in Huining County under the background of the construction of the Long March National Cultural Park has problems such as inadequate infrastructure,low resource aggregation,traditional development mode and lack of professional talents.Combining the results of the empirical study,the development strategy of red tourism in Huining is proposed based on the background of the construction of the Long March National Cultural Park,namely,taking the spirit of the times and cultural economy as the connotation of development,adhering to the four principles of localization,highlighting the theme,coordination and sustainable development,constructing the development mode of "red tourism +" diversified business mode,cross-regional linkage and red tourism brand,etc.Finally,the development countermeasures of resource integration and revitalization,circle layout optimization and coordination,regional collaboration and integration,technology-enabled digital transformation,brand building and expansion of publicity,and strengthening talent training to improve the level of protection are proposed in connection with the construction plan of the Long March National Cultural Park. |
