The rapid development of online Chinese teaching in the context of the global epidemic has also exposed many problems in online teaching,and example sentences are an indispensable part of classroom teaching.Therefore,it is worth studying example sentences setting according to the characteristics of online teaching,optimize them on the basis of the previous research,and promote the development of setting online example sentence.Through classroom observations,questionnaires,and interviews with teachers and students,the online Chinese learning situation of Christian primary schools in Indonesia was investigated,and the actual needs and views of students on the design and presentation of online Chinese example sentences were explored.At the same time,five teachers with online Chinese teaching experience were interviewed to understand the experience and problems encountered by Chinese teachers when setting online example sentence.Then,combined with the example sentence materials in the online Chinese teaching courseware,as well as students’ classroom and after-class feedback,the survey results were studied and analyzed from all aspects of the design and presentation of example sentences.Based on the research analysis,the suggestions for online example sentence teaching are summarized.In terms of the design of example sentences,the selection of example sentences in online teaching pays more attention to real and interesting,meets students’ needs,and emphasizes attracting students’ attention.In order to compensate for students’ undisciplined behavior when studying online,teachers should pay more attention to the recurrencen of knowledgement when designing example sentences,so as to help consolidate knowledge and make up for the negative impact caused by untimely feedback on online Chinese teaching.The length and difficulty of example sentences should be customized by the actual situation of students,so as to meet students’ needs,increase the proportion of short sentences,lower the learning threshold,and alleviate the fear of online learning.Teachers should pay attention to the integrity and typicality of the context when designing example sentences,among which designing a communicative context helps to meet students’ skill needs and promote sticky behavior.In terms of the presentation of example sentences,teachers should reasonably combine the presentation of example sentences with multimedia education technology,and strengthen the students’ intuitiveness and interest of learning,so as to give full play to the advantages of online Chinese teaching,and improve the effect of online Chinese learning.Finally,it is hoped that the results of the research and the suggestions can provide some reference value for the setting of example sentences for online Chinese teaching.
