"Bacao Dance" is the most popular funeral ritual dance in the She inhabited areas of Guizhou Province,especially in Liubao Village of Majiang County."Bacao Dance" is a Folk art with distinctive ethnic and regional characteristics formed by the She people through long-term production and living practice,and it is the result of their hard work.Funeral culture is a system composed of a set of mutually coordinated ritual behaviors,objects and concept systems.It is an important perspective to explore Social change.The "Bacao Dance" of the She ethnic group in Majiang has undergone a transformation from funeral dance to entertainment dance,and its transformation process is a microcosm of the social and historical process of the She ethnic group.This paper takes Liubao Village,Majiang County as an example to study the funeral ceremony of the She ethnic group "Bacao Dance".Through combing and summarizing the historical literature and the relevant research results of scholars,as well as the author’s Field research in Liubao Village,the "Bacao Dance" is placed in the most original funeral ceremony background,restoring the original form of "Bacao Dance",and the development status Conduct a dynamic analysis of changes and social functions,and then elaborate on the cultural psychology reflected in "Bacao Dance",ultimately focusing on the development and inheritance of "Bacao Dance".This paper first introduces the cultural habitat of the She ethnic group.Majiang County is located in the center of Guizhou Province,upstream of the Qingshui River.National roads,provincial roads,and county township roads crisscross the county,forming a transportation network that extends in all directions.It is a throat fortress extending southward from Guizhou to the entire southwestern region.Majiang County is a county composed of six major ethnic groups,namely,Bouyei people,She,Yao,Mulao people,Miao and Han.In addition,other ethnic minorities live here,which is a typical multi-cultural intersection center.Second,according to the case of Field research,describe the funeral ceremony process of the She people in Liubao Village and the manifestation of "Bacao Dance".On the basis of Field research,this paper analyzes the changes,social functions and the relationship between the She people’s "Bagao dance" and the funeral ceremony.The changes in the "Bacao Dance" of the She ethnic group are mainly manifested in three aspects: the first is the change of the performing subject,the second is the change of the performing field,and the third is the change of the dance function.The "Bacao Dance" of the She ethnic group has the social function of inheriting ethnic culture,promoting the spirit of filial piety,enhancing the confidence of the She ethnic culture,enhancing cultural soft power,strengthening ethnic unity,and consolidating ethnic strength.Thirdly,using relevant theories of cultural psychology,this paper analyzes the cultural and psychological aspects of "Bacao Dance",elaborates on the psychological reasons and mechanisms behind its emergence,and introduces the cultural psychology reflected in "Bacao Dance".The main points are as follows: "Bacao Dance" contains the She ethnic carnival psychology,totem worship psychology,and rice farming cultural psychology.In addition,The "Bacao Dance" is also an important symbol of the She ethnic identity,and it also reflects the She ethnic group’s optimistic and open-minded outlook on life and death.Fourthly,it mainly elaborates on the development difficulties and protection strategies of "Bacao Dance".In response to the current development difficulties faced by "Bacao Dance",such as the marginalization of skills,the impact of foreign culture,and the reduction of survival soil,the author proposes relevant protection strategies for "Bacao Dance".Conclusion,Any ethnic culture is a product rooted in the ethnic cultural psychology and spiritual culture,as well as a product of the combined effects of various factors such as historical culture,economic culture,and natural environment.These factors are reflected in people,and the "Bacao Dance" reflects the totem worship psychology,rice farming psychology,and the optimistic and open-minded outlook on life and death of the She ethnic group.The most important thing is that the "Bacao Dance" is an important symbol of the She ethnic identity.The "Bacao Dance" is a unique cultural symbol of the She ethnic group,through which we can understand the long-standing history and cultural background of the She ethnic group,as well as their cultural psychology.In today’s society,many people only pursue economic development,but neglect the important significance of excellent ethnic culture for the spiritual world of the people.How to protect excellent traditional ethnic culture while developing the economy is a question worth pondering.
