Research On The Creation Of Prints With Ethnic Mythological Themes

As an integral part of Chinese culture,folk mythology has provided a constant source of inspiration for artistic creation from ancient times to the present day.The unique ethnicity and storytelling of folk mythology have provided valuable creative material and direction for the creation of prints based on folk mythology.This thesis adopts a theoretical and practical approach to research.After an overview of printmaking on ethnic mythological themes,it focuses on the four aspects of ethnicity,locality,narrative and emotional expression in the artistic expression of ethnic mythological themes in printmaking,and further analyses and summarizes the research content by taking outstanding works as examples and combining them with personal creative practice.The study not only provides theoretical support and basis for promoting the creation of prints on ethnic mythological themes,but also provides important values for inheriting and promoting the excellent Chinese traditional culture in the new era.
