In recent years,ethnic minority themed films have broken through traditional visual wonders and closed narratives and expressions due to the impact of multiculturalism.The core values of ethnic culture in ethnic minority themed films have changed to some extent.How to articulate the true emotional and cultural life of ethnic minorities in the era of globalization and build a community with a shared future,Communicating the cultural value of the community is the direction of current ethnic minority themed film creation and pursuit.From the perspective of the functionality of props,this article analyzes the use and uniqueness of props in ethnic minority themed films.Props not only participate in narrating story clues and showcasing character emotions,but also serve as symbols,metaphors,and carriers of culture.At the same time,they are a dual embodiment of cultural core and value orientation.Based on the creation and practice of the graduation work "Acid in Summer",we are committed to exploring ethnic minority themed films.To gain unanimous recognition from both ethnic and non ethnic minority audiences,creators of ethnic minority themed films need to be rooted in ethnic minority culture,fully explore objects and props that can carry the cultural value of ethnic minorities,and design and use them reasonably,Enable them to become a bridge for emotional exchange between ethnic minorities and non ethnic minorities,fully showcasing the culture of ethnic minorities and moving non ethnic audiences with commonly shared emotions,thereby expanding the audience of ethnic minority themed films.
