Research On The Application Of Natural Form In Contemporary Pottery Creation

Influenced by the revival of traditional culture and the concept of ecological design,the elements of natural form are increasingly favored by contemporary artists.The creation of pottery art combines the creation of natural language in various forms,breaking the traditional way of expression of plane pictures,and the innovation of theory research and practice is constantly trying.This paper mainly studies the application of natural forms in pottery creation,explores the different forms of expression from traditional ceramics to modern pottery creation,and the recreation of natural elements through refining and abstract generalization,and summarizes the more suitable presentation ways of different natural elements in modern pottery creation.The author will first analyze the concept of natural form and its formation and development in pottery creation from a macro perspective,analyze its application mode and function in traditional ceramics,and focus on the role and artistic characteristics of natural form in modern ceramic art through the case analysis of modern ceramic artists,and analyze the combination of natural form and pottery.It is analyzed from three aspects: plane,texture and threedimensional shaping.The transformation of natural form in modern pottery creation has made a great breakthrough.In order to get rid of the traditional aesthetic appreciation of natural form and expand more ways of integration between natural form and pottery creation at the present stage,the research of this paper provides ideas and inspiration for future artistic creation,and directs the author to carry out practical creation.Through my own creative practice,this paper will combine the extraction and expression of natural elements with ceramics to express the innovative understanding of the element of natural form through my own creation,and stimulate readers’ thinking on natural life and the relationship between man and nature through my artistic works.
