As modern art draws to a close,Western art theorists introduce the concept of "entropy" into the art discipline, and contemporary art has long been unable to stay out of this process of exploring the unknown of human beings dominated by modern physics and cosmic astronomy. When contemporary artists successively put forward their artistic creation concepts from philosophy, science, literature, astronomy and other disciplines, they invisibly put forward higher requirements for the audience’s aesthetic understanding, which is not only the audience’s aesthetic understanding of the artist’s work, but also requires the audience to have as much knowledge as possible and other aspects outside of art.Although it is the natural mission of artists to convey and express the world as we know it,in the contemporary era of rapid economic and social development,we still need to see the direction of contemporary art development in the face of endless works of art.Concept-oriented contemporary art creation integrates knowledge and wisdom from many other disciplines, and due to the existence of certain blind spots after the intersection of different disciplines, contemporary art has reached the point where it is necessary to sort out these concepts and elaborate them. This paper will carry out extensive and detailed research and discussion in the field of ceramics in contemporary art,and will elaborate on contemporary ceramics works guided by the six main concepts of identity, body, essence, phenomenon, time and space from the three pairs listed categories "identity and body","essence and phenomenon",and explain in detail the original intention and prospect of their creative concepts by combining the representative creations of contemporary ceramists.Contemporary artists, with their innate ability to perceive social information, assume the responsibility of connecting social culture and information by creating works of art.Contemporary ceramists such as Bai Ming,Lv Pinchang,Liu Zheng,Geng Xue and others have fulfilled these social responsibilities and missions very well, and in their works not only show us the familiarity of pottery techniques, but also see their insight into humanistic care, which is the creation that contemporary art really needs. |
