Animal welfare has gradually become an important indicator of a country’s degree of social civilization.Wild animal welfare is a method of wild animal protection,which Starts from wild animal itself and meets the needs of wild animal.The specific content of wild animal welfare combines the elements of animal welfare and the characteristics of wild animal,which is an innovation of the concept of animal welfare.Wild animal welfare stresses the harmonious coexistence of man and wild animal,which is in line with the requirements of ecological civilization construction.With the development of economy and social civilization,the improper utilization of wild animal resources in China has been criticized more and more.After the outbreak of Corona Virus Disease 2019 at the end of 2019,the public is acutely aware of the direct impact of wild animal welfare on human welfare,and the protection of wild animal welfare is to protect human beings.The existing legal system of wild animal welfare protection has some defects,such as limited protection scope and unscientific wild animal welfare evaluation system,which cannot realize the effective protection of wild animal welfare.Therefore,in view of the problems existing in our country’s wild animal welfare law,it is not only of great theoretical value,but also of great practical significance to perfect our country’s wild animal welfare protection system with the animal welfare theory.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the main body of this thesis are as follows:The first part introduces the concept and components of wild animal welfare.According to the current understanding of the concept of wild animals,the definition of wild animals is clarified.According to the characteristics of wild animals and the components of international animal welfare,the components of wild animal welfare are defined.The second part deals with the theoretical debate on wildlife welfare.By combing the formation of the wild animal welfare and the disputes with animal rights theory,we can find the value and significance of the protection of wild animal welfare.The third part analyzes the necessity and feasibility of the special legislation of wild animal welfare in China.Based on the understanding of wild animal protection work in China,the urgency of legal protection for wild animal welfare in China is clarified,and the feasibility of special legislation for wild animal welfare in China is analyzed.The fourth part analyzes the status quo and deficiencies of wild animal welfare protection legal system in China.Through the analysis of the status quo of legislation and judicial practice of wild animal protection in China,this paper summarizes the deficiencies of wild animal welfare protection in China.The fifth part puts forward the suggestion of perfecting our country’s wild animal welfare protection system.Combining domestic and overseas experience in wild animal welfare protection,in view of the problems of wild animal welfare protection legal system in China,this paper puts forward some suggestions from the aspects of formulating the special legislation of wild animal welfare,strengthening supervision and perfecting preventive public interest litigation.
