Shamoga is tender twigs of Artemisia halodendron Turcz, which belongs to Asteraceae Artemisia vegetation and is semi shrub, distributes in the vast desert of northeast, north and northwest of China and has good wind and sand fixation and rich resources in our country.Artemisia halodendron Turcz has the efficacy of relieving cough and asthma, and can be used for the treatment of cold, chronic bronchitis and rheumatic diseases.Previous studies in the research group showed that the Artemisia halodendron Turcz has good anti-inflammatory and antiasthmatic effects, and its effective components are mainly flavonoids. The process of preparing the effective components of Shamoga has been optimized. In addition, the quality evaluation method of medicinal materials and effective components of Shamoga was established with total flavonoids and Blumea balsamifera content as indicator. In terms of pharmacodynamics research,a holistic evaluation method of asthma was established by invasive airway resistance test combined with noninvasive volume scanning method, and the overall efficacy of Shamoga was evaluated. On the basis of the previous research, this paper further clarified the components of Shamoga that produce effect by studying the effective components of Artemisia halodendron Turcz the HPLC characteristic chromatograms of Shamoga was established, and 5 characteristic peaks in the characteristic map were identified, which provided a reference for quality control of Shamoga medicinal material-intermediate-products.Besides,the volatile oil of Artemisia halodendron Turcz was also studied, the main components of the volatile oil in the aboveground part of Artemisia halodendron Turcz was identified, and the difference of the volatile oil content in the aerial part of Artemisia halodendron Turcz of different years was compared.1.Investigation and study of ShamogaIn order to clarify the resource distribution and resource growth of Shamoga, eight survey samples were selected in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region for resource investigation. The results show that the distribution of resources in Inner Mongolia autonomous region is extensive, and the distribution of resources is uneven in vertical distribution and horizontal distribution. The root of the Shamoga is developed and its vitality is strong. The branches of its stem base can produce adventitious roots after burying sand, and a large number of new resources are born in the roots of the past years. In addition, according to investigation, digging can promote its growth and reproduction. If it is exploited rationally,it can improve its resource utilization rate.2.Study on the chemical constituents of the effective component of ShamogaIn order to clarify the components that produce effect of Shamoga, the effective components were prepared according to the previous optimization process, and then the chemical constituents in the effective components were analyzed by ultra performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry.5 chemical components were identified,i.e.5,2’,4’-trihydroxy-6,7,5’-trimethoxy flavonoid,cirsilineol,rhamnetin,isosakuranetin,7-o-methyleriodictyol,respectively.Then,high efficiency liquid chromatography was used to prepare high purity monomers from the effective components. The structures of monomers were identified by high resolution mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic resonance.Finally,6 compounds were isolated and identified,i.e.,padmatin,methyl 3-(4’-hydroxyprenyl)coumarate,3,5,4’-trihydroxy-7-methoxyflavanone,3,5,4’-trihydroxy-7,3’-dimethoxytlavanone,capillartemisin A,7-o-methyleriodictyol,respectively.padmatin,methyl 3-(4’-hydroxyprenyl)coumarate,3,5,4’-trihydroxy-7-methoxyflavanone,3,5,4’-trihydroxy-7,3’-dimethoxytlavanone and capillartemisin A was isolated from Artemisia halodendron Turcz for the first time.3.Study on the HPLC characteristic chromatograms of Artemisia halodendron TurczIn this paper, high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)was used to establish the HPLC characteristic chromatograms of Artemisia halodendron Turcz. The chromatographic conditions were:Agilent Eclipse Plus C18 column(4.6 mm×250 mm,5 μm)was used with acetonitrile and 0.1%formic acid as mobile phase in a isocratic elution mode at the flow rate of 1.0 mL/min.The optimal detection wavelength was 288nm and the column temperature was 25℃,and the sampling size was 10 μL.The results showed that the RSD value of the relative retention time and relative peak area of each characteristic peak in the precision stability and reproducibility test was less than 5%,which accords with the technical requirements of the research on the fingerprint of traditional Chinese medicine. The HPLC characteristic chromatogram of Artemisia halodendron Turcz were was established, which included eight characteristic peaks.Five common peaks were identified as padmatin, methyl 3-(4’-hydroxyprenyl)coumarate,eriodictyol-7-methylether,capillartemisin A and isosakuranetin, respecitively. This study provides a method for the quality evaluation of Artemisia halodendron Turcz, and provides reference for the study of the multi index quality control of Artemisia halodendron Turcz medicinal materials-intermediate-products.4.Study on chemical constituents of volatile oil from Artemisia halodendron TurczIn this paper, the volatile oil from the aerial parts of Artemisia halodendron Turcz with different collection time was extracted by steam distillation and analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The results showed that the volatile oil in the aerial part of Artemisia halodendron Turcz contains alpha.-muurolene,caryophyllene,alloaromadendrene,1-(1,5-dimethyl-4-hexenyl)-4-methyl-benzene and 2-ethenyl-naphthalene,etc.There are some differences in the composition of the volatile oil in the aerial parts of t Artemisia halodendron Turcz with different collection times. This article also compares the components of volatile oil from the aerial parts and volatile oil from seeds, and finds that volatile oils in different parts of Artemisia halodendron Turcz is different. The volatile oil from the aerial parts contains more terpenes, while the volatile oil of from seeds contains more terpene alcohol. In addition, this paper has conducted a preliminary discussion on the effect of volatile oils in the Artemisia halodendron Turcz, which can provides a reference for the comprehensive utilization of Artemisia halodendron Turcz.
