| Objective:To explore the mechanism effect of Pain relief cream in the early postoperative treatment of calcaneal fractures, evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Pain relief cream based on experimental results, and provide data reference for clinical treatment of calcaneal fractures. Methods:According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, this study plans to include 80 patients with calcaneal fractures treated in our hospital from March 2022 to March 2023,who underwent open reduction and internal fixation surgery with an L-shaped incision on the lateral side of the heel.Randomly divided them into two groups, with 40 cases in each group. For the medication treatment of postoperative patients, the control group received routine orthopedic treatment, while the treatment group received external use of Pain relief cream on the basis of routine orthopedic treatment. The observation period was 14 days. The early postoperative recovery(pain, swelling, wound healing, and wound complications)of patients with different treatment methods were observed, and the relevant data were recorded and analyzed.Results:1.The general data of 80 patients included in this study(gender, age,Sanders fracture classification, injury to surgery time, etc.)were statistically analyzed, and the results showed no statistically significant differences(P>0.05).This indicated that the preoperative data of the two groups of patients would not have a significant impact on the results of this study, and the relevant research indicators after surgery were comparable.2.Postoperative pain relief effect:After surgery, patients were applied with Pain relief cream for 14 days, and the VAS pain scores on the 1st,3rd,7th,and 14th days after surgery were compared between the two groups of patients. The difference in VAS scores between the two groups of patients on the 7th and 14th day after surgery was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was superior to the control group in relieving postoperative pain with Pain relief cream.3.Postoperative detumescence effect:After 14 days of external application of Pain relief cream, after postoperative follow-up,the time for postoperative limb swelling to subside was compared between the two groups of patients, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).This indicated that the treatment group was superior to the control group in reducing postoperative limb swelling with Pain relief cream.4.Postoperative promotion of wound healing:After 14 days of external application of Pain relief cream, the postoperative wound healing time of the two groups of patients was compared, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).This indicated that external application of Pain relief cream has the effect of promoting wound healing, and the wound healing time of the treatment group was significantly shorter than that of the control group.5.Postoperative incision complications:After 14 days of external application of Pain relief cream, the number of postoperative incision complications in the two groups of patients was compared. There were no complications in the treatment group, while there were 2 complications in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).6.Safety situation:No adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal discomfort and drug allergy occurred during the treatment cycle. Conclusion:In this study,Pain relief cream are used in conjunction with routine orthopedic treatment for postoperative calcaneal fractures. The study showed that the combination of the two can reduce limb swelling, alleviate pain, and promote surgical incision healing. |
