The Formation And Temporal And Spatial Evolution Of Modern Shenyang Urban Landscape(1861-1931)

This study uses Chinese,English,Japanese and other language text and image materials,with the help of the theories and technical methods of geography and ecology,restores the formation and evolution process of modern Shenyang urban landscape,discusses its scale and structure,and analyzes the reasons for the evolution of modern Shenyang urban landscape.The main conclusions are as follows:Driven by various factors,modern Shenyang has successively formed commercial landscape gathering areas such as Siping Street,Chunri Street and North Market,industrial landscape gathering areas such as Dadong Industrial Zone and Northwest Industrial Zone,scientific and educational landscapes such as Mukden Medical University,Manchuria Christian College,Manchuria Medical University,Northeastern University and Feng Yong University,medical and health landscapes such as Mukden hospital,Affiliated Hospital of Manchuria Medical University,Japanese Red Cross Mukden Hospital,public landscapes such as Fengtian Park,Xiaoheyan Park,Beiling Park and the Northeastern China Museum,financial landscapes such as Yokohama Specie Bank Ltd,the Northeastern China Official Bank,Bianye Bank and Citibank,and religious landscapes such as Xiaonanguan Catholic Church and Dongguan Christian Church.In 70 years from the opening of ports in Northeast China to the Mukden Incident,Shenyang has grown from only one plate in Shengjing City to three large plates and nearly ten small plates;The urban landscape area has increased to more than three times of the urban landscape area in the early stage of opening ports in Northeastern China.The scale of urban landscape has increased significantly.The types of urban landscape have increased from almost five major categories and more than ten sub categories to more than ten major categories and at least thirty sub categories.The richness of urban landscape has increased significantly.From the Sino-Japanese War to the Mukden Incident,due to the formation of "colonies",the creating of new urban areas,the formation of edges,low landscape connectivity,multi-power space confrontation,the degree of urban landscape fragmentation in Shenyang increased day by day.Among them,multi-power space confrontation is not only the core factor leading to this problem,but also an important factor affecting the evolution trend of modern Shenyang urban landscape.Therefore,the type,diversity and spatial relationship of landscape units have changed.
