National identity is a citizen’s sense of belonging and loyalty based on the objective cognition of the country’s image,history and cultural values,and the psychological consciousness and behavioral tendency of making contributions to the development of the country,which is characterized by hierarchical exclusivity and relative stability.As a kind of human practice with high spiritual essence,cultural ceremony is one of the living carriers of national identity education for social members.It is composed of basic elements such as ceremony,space-time ceremony,symbol ceremony and performance.It has the characteristics of guidance,standardization,situationality,and repetition.There are many kinds of cultural ceremonies,which can be divided into three main aspects: national cultural ceremonies,social public cultural ceremonies and folk cultural ceremonies according to the different organizers and planners of cultural ceremonies.They respectively play an important role in guiding the direction of national identity education and helping the development of a solid foundation.The reason why cultural ceremony can play the role of national identity education is that it can shape national image by symbol display,so as to strengthen social members’ deep cognition of national community image.Cohesion of national identity with community identity,and then enhance social members’ sense of belonging to their country;The belief foundation of national identity is firmly established with social mainstream values,so as to deepen the internalization and practice of national values by social members.National identity education takes cultural ceremony as an important carrier,and its educational effect depends on the development of each link of cultural ceremony in the practice process.Therefore,we should closely follow the requirements of national identity education in the planning,exhibition and follow-up of cultural ceremony to explore diversified practice paths.In the overall planning of the ceremony program,various resources of national identity education are mined by inheriting excellent culture,innovating the ceremony form and training ceremony personnel;In the process of promoting the ceremony exhibition,national identity education measures should be optimized by perfecting the ceremony norms,increasing the ceremony interaction and using the ceremony live broadcast;In the follow-up of the ceremony,we should establish and improve the ceremony feedback evaluation mechanism to create and produce cultural ceremony derivative products to expand the effect of national identity education.
