Research On The Aesthetic Value Of Immersive Art

To study the aesthetic value of immersive art,we should trace back to the source,explore the historical origin of art named "immersive",and analyze the path of the combination of "immersive" and "art" from two aspects: the aesthetic meaning of specific concepts and the development of art.Based on previous studies,this paper attempts to define the immersive art.Focusing on the analysis and interpretation of the aesthetic character of immersive art,this paper discusses the possibility and value of this art form to aesthetic education,and reflects on its impact and influence on art and aesthetics in actual practice of aesthetic education.Compared with traditional art,immersive art mainly has three special aesthetic qualities.Firstly,the visualization of imagination.With the assistance of digital technology and modern media,the aesthetic image originally constructed by imagination can be genuinely displayed in front of the audience;Secondly,the integration of art.Immersive art integrates the characteristics of various previous arts,including the combination of dynamic and static,time and space,as well as reproduction and expression.In this way,it goes beyond the limitation of previous art,which only resorting to a single or a few senses,and causes the participation of multiple senses;Thirdly,the integration of body and mind.The immersive experience is aimed at "physical and mental entertainment",which draws the senses that are difficult to participate in aesthetics into the appreciation of art,echoing the demands of contemporary the soma aesthetics.In terms of creation,immersive art requires the intervention of the audience.When the interactive relationship between people and works occurs,it is finally completed.Therefore,the original right of artist’s creativity has been dispersed to different audiences in immersive art.In terms of form,immersive art has diversified presentation ways due to free creation,which are mainly divided into new media,installation and virtual reality technology.In terms of appreciation,immersive art dispels the aesthetic distance between the works and the audience by breaking the "fourth wall".Because its creation is mainly based on the cooperation of technology and media application,it can be perfectly copied,breaking the gap between the work and the audience in time and space.The audience interacts with the art works under the theme framework given by the artist and integrates into them,which is easier to achieve the ideal acceptance of "Horizon integration".In addition,immersive art is far more interesting than other art,so the audience with weak aesthetic ability can participate in it.Also driven by interest,the relationship between immersive art and people has changed from passive input to active acceptance,resulting in a better effect of aesthetic education.However,we should also pay attention to the possible masking of this too pleasant experience on aesthetic judgment and aesthetic reflection,as well as the occupation of artistic entertainment,which will not only fail to achieve aesthetic education value,but also damage the aesthetic ability of the audience.Pointing out the above problems has certain meaning for realizing the aesthetic value of immersive art.
