City is the largest Tibetan Buddhist temple in Y Province,which has an important influence on the Tibetan Buddhist circle in the whole Y province.In the past,with the continuous efforts of the Party and the government,S Temple has achieved certain results in publicity and education,team building,and business norms,playing a role in the religious security and stability of Tibetan-related areas in Y Province.This paper adopts the method of literature analysis and field investigation to conduct investigation and analysis on the overall situation of guiding S Temple in X City adapting to the socialist society through marxist religious view and socialist religious theory with Chinese characteristics,summarizes the practices and results,analyzes the deficiencies found in the investigation and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions.Through field investigation and material sorting,S Temple in X City mainly carries out national policy publicity and education activities,and takes advantage of ethnic and religious festivals and activities to carry out education and propaganda of religious policies and patriotism.Religious affairs are strictly regulated,and venues for religious activities,monks and religious activities are under the rule of law.We will strengthen the work force for ethnic and religious groups,and enhance their ability to handle ethnic and religious work through style improvement and professional training.Actively promote the combination of temples and monks with the socialist society,fully explore the positive factors of religion,and promote the secularization of religion.With the efforts of the temple management department,Tibetan Buddhism in S Temple has achieved certain results in adapting to the socialist society,religious affairs have been basically brought into the track of rule of law,the quality of ethnic and religious work team has been strengthened,the temple is harmonious and stable,and monks and believers have strong feelings towards the Party,the country and socialism.However,in the practical work of S Temple guiding Tibetan Buddhism to adapt to the socialist society,there are still some deficiencies,such as the rule of law construction at the grass-roots level of the monastery still needs to be implemented,there is still room for monks’ thought to be improved according to the requirements of the socialist society,and the combination of the content and form of propaganda and education activities with Tibetan culture still needs to be strengthened.All these deficiencies have posed challenges to further deepening the adaptation of Tibetan Buddhism to the socialist society.The reasons are as follows: first,there is still room for improvement in guiding subjects’ grasp of religious theories in the new era;second,the construction of ethnic and religious work teams is not well matched with the actual needs;third,the ideological construction of monks and religious believers is not solid enough.To further promote the religions to adapt themselves to the socialist society,must be in the marxist religion and the religious theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics under the guidance of,combines the actual conditions of ethnic and religious areas,one is to further enhance the standardization and legalization of the temple management level,realize comprehensive leadership over the temple,play the role of gravity temple in the temple of governance,Accelerate the network construction of temple governance;Second,to comprehensively improve the quality and practical work ability of ethnic and religious working forces,carry out talent introduction plan,solve the dilemma of talent shortage in ethnic minority areas,strengthen the ideological and technical training of existing workers,and create a good working environment for workers;The third is to promote the temple autonomy,through strengthening the construction of the temple ethnic management committee,the construction of the temple style of learning and temple style,the training of monks and nuns personnel,and the modern interpretation of the rules and teachings to improve the ability of religious
