Tong Lau,public housing and high-rise buildings are often the cultural scenes of the classic images of Hong Kong movies.The reproduction and expression of living space is also an important means of presenting Hong Kong consciousness.This paper sorts out the presentation of the daily living space represented by Tong Lau,public housing and high-rise buildings in classic Hong Kong films of different periods,and their representational significance in different periods.Through research,it is found that Hong Kong films have experienced the historical development from Hong Kong New Wave films to Post-1997 films,and then to New Century films.In different periods,Hong Kong films express the daily living space in different ways.On the one hand,with the changes and development of Hong Kong society,the expression of the daily living space represented by Tong Lau,public housing and high-rise buildings in Hong Kong films has also changed,which reflects the change of Hong Kong consciousness;on the other hand,Hong Kong consciousness It also deeply affects the film’s expression of daily living space,and the two sides are both meanings and means to each other.This paper selects representative works of each stage according to the time context of Hong Kong films,and analyzes the representational meaning of daily living space in Hong Kong films and its relationship with Hong Kong consciousness through the method of text analysis,combining film theory,space theory and cultural research.mutual construction relationship.The first part sorts out the mutual construction process of Hong Kong consciousness and the daily living space in Hong Kong movies.First,it clarifies the reasons why tenement buildings,public housing and high-rise buildings can represent the daily living space from the changes of the main daily living space in Hong Kong."Interconstruction" discusses from the new wave period to the post-1997 period,and then to Hong Kong since the new century from two aspects: the construction and expression of the daily living space in the film by Hong Kong consciousness,and the reconstruction of the Hong Kong consciousness by the presentation of the daily living space in the film.Consciousness and the inter-construction of living space in film.The second part analyzes the evolution of Tong Lau in Hong Kong movies and its representational significance to Hong Kong consciousness.It analyzes the texts of three classic works respectively,and discusses the traditional tenement that represents the marginalized in the new wave movies.In the 1997 films,the identity consciousness of fluidity and confusion is represented,and the collective nostalgia and cultural preservation consciousness are represented in the films of the new century.The third part analyzes the epochal evolution of public housing in Hong Kong movies and its representational significance to Hong Kong consciousness.It conducts textual analysis of three classic works respectively,and discusses the representation of "Lion Rock Spirit" and collective fantasy in new wave movies by public housing.In the post-1997 films,it represents the identity crisis and grassroots consciousness,and in the new century films,it represents the local feelings and the community spirit full of neighborhood warmth.The third part analyzes the evolution of the era of high-rise buildings in Hong Kong movies and their representational significance to Hong Kong consciousness,and analyzes the texts of three classic works respectively,and discusses the sense of homelessness and root-seeking consciousness of high-rise buildings in New Wave movies.The historical sense and postmodernity that characterize disappearance in the 1997 films,and the demise of heterotopia and the triumph of mainstream culture in the films of the new century.Finally,it is concluded that the consciousness of Hong Kong and the daily living space in Hong Kong films are both meanings and means.The consciousness of Hong Kong in different periods has constructed the image of the daily living space in the film,and the presentation of the living space in the film can also be reversed.Build local consciousness and influence local society with the propaganda effect and artistic influence of the film.At the same time,it also enlightens us that local consciousness should be based on openness and hybridity,and be built on the culture of tolerance of others,so as to construct a unique local identity.
