Abstract/Summary:
History and politics have always been closely related.Historiography is conceived in the era,and major social changes will have an impact on the compilation of history books. And through the history books can also deepen our understanding of this period. The Tang Dynasty made remarkable achievements in historiography, but also carried out a series of major changes and adjustments in politics. This provides a prerequisite for exploring the relationship between history and politics in this period. This article takes " Zhou Shu" as an example, and explores the relationship between "Zhou Shu " and the politics of the early Tang Dynasty from the perspectives of concession, enfeoffment, and ethnicity. In the Northern Zhou,Sui and Tang dynasties, the origin of the power of the new emperors was obtained through the method of "concession".This same line of power changes will also be reflected in several historical books compiled in the early Tang Dynasty. The specific expression in " Zhou Shu " is that through the dual configuration of the main biography of entrepreneurship and the biography of heroes in troubled times, the legal transition of power in the Northern Zhou Dynasty under the construction of historical records is completed, and it is also a successor to the subsequent Sui and Tang power changes and orthodoxy.established the foundation. In addition, through the comparison of the three volumes of "Zhou Shu: Jingdi"," Zhou Shu: Gaozu" and " Sui Shu: Emperor Gong",it can be seen that "Zhou Shu " is only the part of the origin of power under the system of Zeng Xiu in the Five History of Tang Xiu.The "Sui Shu" is the last chapter under this writing system, marking the final completion of the writing "in the name of history".Since the three dynasties enfeoffed Qinli prefectures and counties, the debates over these two regimes have never ceased in successive dynasties. At the beginning of the Tang Dynasty, there was a heated discussion on the question of what kind of system to implement, and three factions that advocated the county system, the enfeoffment system, and the compromise advocated were formed, and finally ended with the predominance of the number of supporters of the county.Through sorting out,it is found that the Zhou Shu supports the idea of "running feudalism",and by reading it in parallel with the Sui Shu and the Jin Shu,it can also be seen that there are differences in the views on enfeoffment in the Five Histories. This shows that in the early Tang Dynasty, the personal views and attitudes of historians still played an important role in the process of revising history, and they were expressed through historical books, forming an interactive influence between historiography and politics. The war between the Chinese and the barbarians has existed since ancient times. The Central Plains Dynasty has always held an attitude of contempt for the surrounding ethnic groups because of its own cultural superiority. But Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty proposed that "since ancient times,China has always been valued, barbarians are humbled, and I only love them as one",and implemented an open and inclusive ethnic policy. However, behind the enlightenment was not completely free from the shackles of Huayi thought, and the same was true for the writing of history books in this period. In the Tang Dynasty, although the system of history museums was in place, the thinking was new, which also led to the fact that the six official history books in the early Tang Dynasty were not monolithic. In the process of compiling history books, both will be influenced by the unified will of the Tang Dynasty and the individual thoughts of the editors.
