A Study On Lu Jin And His Poetry

Lu Jin was an important poet active in the Hangzhou area in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties.He lived in the four dynasties of Tianqi and Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty,Shunzhi and Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty,and has a unique experience of the times and life.Lu Jin devoted his whole life to poetry creation.In the era of surging literary trends,he combined the small traditional literature of "Xiling Poetics" with the big traditional trend of "Respecting Tang Dynasty and Retro",and through his own creative practice,The highly inclusive poetic orientation responds to the diversified development of the subject matter and content of Qing poetry.In his interactions with the remnants,the "Ten Sons of Xiling" and the literati in the capital,he used poetry to meet friends and express the unique psychological feelings of the literati in the complex era in the poetry gifts and rewards.Based on the basic issues of Lu Jin’s life,background of times,singing and socializing,and poetry creation,this paper explores how Lu Jin’s poetic thoughts in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties represented the poet’s difficult living conditions and complicated mental journeys.This paper consists of three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction part sorts out the writing status of Lu Jin’s poetry and the previous research results,and points out the research significance of this paper.The main body consists of five chapters:The first chapter introduces Lu Jin’s life and background.Starting from the family,society,culture and literary environment,and based on the background research from multiple perspectives,this paper analyzes the gradual maturity process of the poet’s psychology in the ups and downs of the late Ming and early Qing dynasties.Lu Jin and his era.The second chapter examines Lu Jin’s contacts.Lu Jin’s friends in his life can be divided into two parts,Hangzhou literati and Beijing literati.In Lu Jin’s "Chaoqingge Collection",there are many sang and gift-giving poems with friends.These poems are involved from famous poets to hometown poets.Lu Jin’s friendship with these poets is the epitome of the network of literati in Hangzhou at that time.The third chapter discusses Lu Jin’s poetic proposition."Ancient poetry respects Han and Wei,and modern style is still flourishing in Tang" is Lu Jin’s main poetic thought.In the inheritance and evolution of many poetic ideas such as the Seven Sons,Yunjian School and Xiling School before and after the Ming Dynasty,Lu Jin taught him through his family.Influenced by his friends,he has gradually formed a unique style,but is still limited by traditional poetic thoughts and creative ideas.The fourth and fifth chapters analyze the subject matter and artistic features of Lu Jin’s poetry.This paper divides the subject matter of Lu Jin’s poetry into epic poems of nostalgia for ancient times,poems about landscapes,poems for rewards,singing and gifts,and poems for inscriptions and paintings.When analyzing the content of the poems,combined with the background of the times and the situation of friends,the poet’s mentality reflected in the poems is further discussed..In addition,it analyzes the artistic characteristics of his poems from the perspectives of poetry genre,formal characteristics,language style and artistic techniques.The conclusion part briefly commented on Lu Jin’s position and influence in the poetic circle of the early Qing Dynasty.
