Study On Jiangnan Culture And “White-Horse-Lake Writer Group”

"White-Horse-Lake Writer Group" is a regional group of writers represented by famous modern writers such as Xia mianzun,Feng zikai,Zhu ziqing,Zhu guangqian,Yu pingbo and Ye shengtao.Whether the writers were born individually or as a group,the "White-Horse-Lake" has an umbilical cord relationship with Jiangnan culture,and their personalities and literary characters are the most harmonious products of Jiangnan culture.Based on this relationship,this thesis will start with the cultural philosophy,textual content and literary forms of this group of writers,and will launch a more detailed study and discussion on the basis of a comprehensive reading and systematic combing.In the first part,while clearly defining the specific concept of "White-Horse-Lake Writer Group",the research dynamics of the group are briefly sorted out chronologically,laying a solid foundation for the subsequent development of this topic.The second part,firstly,through the three-dimensional relationship between Jiangnan,Jiangnan culture and the "White-Horse-Lake Writer Group",expounds that the formation of the "White-Horse-Lake Writer Group" is due to the traction of the common cultural identity among the members,and on this basis,shows the full basis and necessity of studying the "White-Horse-Lake Writer Group" from the perspective of Jiangnan culture.The third part focuses on Jiangnan cultural support behind the two cultural philosophies of "White-Horse-Lake Writer Group" : seclusion and initiation into the world.It should be emphasized that the seclusion of "White-Horse-Lake Writer Group" is not really seclusion.They have always taken up the social responsibility of intellectuals with a constructive attitude,and have made important contributions in three areas: literature,education and publishing.The fourth section summarises the regional cultural materials used in the creation of the texts of "White-Horse-Lake Writer Group".It is the mountains and water,the food and drink,and the customs and objects of Jiangnan that give the texts of "White-Horse-Lake Writer Group" reveal distinctive regional characteristics.The fifth section analyses the artistic commonalities of "White-Horse-Lake Writer Group" as a whole.The unique water environment in Jiangnan makes the texts of "White-Horse-Lake Writer Group",compared with those of other regional writers,clearly display delicate strokes,a feminine atmosphere,and light but philosophical expressions.From the perspective of Jiangnan culture,this thesis gives the collective care and expression of "White-Horse-Lake Writer Group",hoping to provide a vivid example for the study of regional culture and do some basic work for the study of non-mainstream writers’ groups.
