"Growing up" is an eternal topic of human beings,and it has been most fully displayed in children.The fundamental theme of children’s growth novels is the "theme of growth",which is manifested as different dimensions of achievement with the advancement of the times.This paper divides the contemporary Inner Mongolia children’s growth novels spanning 70 years into three stages: the socialist construction period,the reform and opening up and the new century,respectively,from the changes in the creative background,the performance of the growth theme,the significance of creation and the existing problems,analyze the theme of the contemporary children’s growth novel in Inner Mongolia for the continuation of the previous stage and the new changes produced in the next stage,and summarize the continuity that looms in the complex flow.The paper as a whole consists of five parts.The introduction section traces and defines the concepts of "growth novels" and "children’s growth novels",introduces the research content of this paper,sorts out the research status related to the topics,and points out the innovative points and research methods of the selected topics.The first part explores the themes of inner Mongolian children’s growth novels that resonate with the times during the period of socialist construction.Focusing on the three inspection angles of grassland children thriving in the new environment,moving from struggle to victory under the leadership of the party,and tempering themselves in labor construction,patriotism,revolutionary history,and socialist construction are summarized into the three dimensions that constitute the theme,and it is believed that cultivating vigorous socialist newcomers is the main pursuit of Inner Mongolia children’s growth novels in this period.The second part summarizes the themes of Inner Mongolia children’s growth novels in the new era as individual growth and ethnic unity.Divided into three sections,the first analysis of the inner Mongolia revolutionary history theme children’s novels in this period of personal and ethnic content expression.Secondly,in the literary context of the rediscovery of the "individual",the dual growth of children’s physical and psychological levels is explained from the dimension of paying attention to the individual spiritual world,pursuing missing family affection,realizing self-confirmation,and initiating written consciousness.Finally,in terms of the uniqueness of regional literature,the theme of national unity is analyzed,and it is believed that it not only excavates the foundation of national culture,but also adds a unique aesthetic connotation to the writing of Chinese children’s literature.The diversified and rich creative themes have formed a considerable development trend of Inner Mongolia children’s growth novels in the new century.The third part interprets the specific manifestations of the deepening of the ecological theme and the theme of education,and at the same time,at the level of grasping the pulse of the times and getting close to the life of the nation,the theme of cultural integration is born,which expands the new connotation of the "growth theme" from the perspective of how ethnic minority children who have received education from grassland pastoral areas to cities can integrate into modern cities.In addition,the re-understanding and grasp of the "play spirit" in children’s nature has prompted children’s growth novels to return to the theme of "games" after stepping out of the "theory of education",and fully respect and affirm children’s free nature.The conclusion summarizes the content and law of the theme change of Inner Mongolia children’s growth novels in three different periods,and conducts in-depth reflection and prospect on existing problems and future directions,and believes that Inner Mongolia children’s growth novels will have better and longer-term development. |
