Study On Ritual Communication Of Luoshan Shadow Play

In recent years,in order to pursue economic benefits,In recent years,in order to pursue economic benefits,some regions have neglected the development law of folk culture,making the inheritance and development of folk culture face severe challenges.As a comprehensive folk art product integrating opera,art,literature,music and handicrafts,Luoshan shadow play has grasped its own ritual characteristics in the process of communication,and has unique advantages among many folk cultures.This research takes James W Kerry’s ritual view of communication as the theoretical perspective,combines the research perspectives of sociology,folklore,semiology,and conducts research on the ceremony communication of Luoshan shadow play through field investigation,questionnaire survey,in-depth interview and other research methods.The research found that from a macro perspective,Luoshan shadow play demonstrated its ritualized communication process through the construction of several time nodes in the early,medium and late stages.Relying on the six specific ceremony processes of setting up the stage,setting tribute,playing the stage,inviting the gods,singing the main show and sending the gods,it vividly presents various details of the ceremony communication of Luoshan shadow play.Ritualized transmission gives the processes builds of Luoshan shadow play strong infectivity,and brings emotional connection to the ’moderators’ of rituals,participants with perimeters.From a micro perspective,Luoshan shadow play uses various ritual elements,such as subject elements,voice elements,modeling elements,color elements and gesture elements,to enhance the cultural value contained in its ritual communication and trengthens the emotional resonance of ritual communication to the audience.The ritual communication of Luoshan shadow play not only provides a channel for the emotional contact of the audience,but also highlights its value significance as the representative of China’s traditional culture.This study analyzes the ritual communication effect of Luoshan shadow play from three aspects:cognition,attitude and behavior.It’s found that on the one hand,it has the advantages of high value of folk culture,strong role of behavior norms and diverse ritual symbols,but on the other hand,there are also some problems,such as insufficient interaction between transmission and reception,no official ceremony to spread festivals,marginalization of common meaning space and so on.In view of this,This study hopes to see the big from the small,and put forward empirical enlightenment for the ritual communication of folk culture through the study of Luoshan shadow play.In the future development,folk culture should deepen the ritual symbol,guard against the homogeneity of content;Set up official ceremonies and festivals to create cultural memory points;Establish the dialogue mechanism of transmission and reception,build a bridge of ceremony interaction;Innovation ceremony communication situation,cohesion audience common emotion.
