As an important proposition of art development,art’s return to tradition is certainly the research category of modern and contemporary art development.As an important model of religious painting,Dunhuang fresco is the material distribution center for contemporary art to return to tradition.It can develop a new research direction by excavating the uniqueness of Dunhuang art and combining the proposition of extensibility with the practice of ink painting art.As a classic representative of traditional Chinese painting,ink painting has rich cultural deposits.Ink painting and murals have a long history,and there are prototypes of Chinese ink painting in the excavated murals of the Han Dynasty.With the change of The Times,the development of ink art has formed a variety of art forms.The author in the dunhuang mural 257 wat is expanding and the research value of the“write color for the bone ”color painting techniques to extract,with ink and basal facsimile,the earthen base eliminates the hope in this new form for the plain dignified traditional murals,smooth add a few minutes of spirit action and interest,in turn,rich mural art form,to a new kind of inherit and carry forward the ancient murals.This paper aims to combine the technique of “writing color as bone” in cave257 of Dunhuang frescoes with the base of ink painting,and expounds the methods and unique meaning of the combination of the two,which are reflected in personal creation.The article gives consideration to both ancient frescoes and ink painting materials.Through literature review,historical data analysis,personal practice and other methods to complete the paper,with a new perspective to discover the beauty of Dunhuang frescoes.
