Painters belonging to this school have different styles.Whether it is the form of "inverted figures" or the stack of materials,they generally pay attention to the image expression in the painting language,and express the cry for humanity and the unrestrained personal emotions with the help of the texture of brush strokes,presenting the common feature of multi-level painting language.Initially,multilayer refers to a certain way of painting in classical paintings,and not only refers to the characteristics of painting language,such as "cover dye" and tempera techniques in classical oil paintings.With the development of art to modern times,multi-layer has already developed from traditional techniques to an independent feature of painting language.In terms of meaning,it means that a certain substance has multiple layers,overlapping or covering layer by layer.Multi-layer painting language is staggered overlapping and interweaving layer by layer in a progressive way,and gradually reveals the multi-layer order of the picture through breaking,repeating and reproducing.The German neo-expressionist artists,through the superposition of images,points,lines and planes with expressive characteristics and comprehensive materials,effectively reflect the rich sense of images,multi-level,strengthen the theme,and express their creative thoughts and thoughts on contemporary social life and politics.Based on the ontology of painting language,this papertakes German neo-expressionism as an example to think about the characteristics of multi-layered painting language.Mainly from four aspects to study: The first chapter is an overview of The German neo-expressionism painting,one is to introduce the background of the emergence and development of The German neo-expressionism painting,the second is to discuss the overall characteristics of the painting language born in the background,the third is to elaborate on the concept of multi-level painting language,and then to analyze the characteristics of multi-level painting in the German neo-expressionism painting;The second chapter is the key chapter,combing the concrete embodiment of multi-layer painting language in German new expressionism,starting from three parts of line,color and layer respectively.The third chapter explains the multilayer concept presentation from two aspects of image and material.The chapter four analyzes the possibility of multilayer to expand the language of contemporary Chinese painting and its influence on my personal creation.
