Research On Spirituality Of German Expressionism Painting

The topic of this dissertation is The study of spirituality of German Expressionism painting.This study includes four parts.1.The origin of spirituality of German Expressionism painting;2.Analysis for spirituality of German Expressionism painting;3.Analysis for artists' masterpieces of German Expressionism.4.German Expressionism painting's influence on current arts,which is the main part of this paper.Deep introspection towards world wars and the development of capitalism through German Expressionism painting show the Germany characteristics of the times in the 20 th century wonderfully with the perfect integration of its unique way to express and the consciousness of tragedy.And at the same time,when there was a cultural vacuum in German,where Expressionism painting was the soul's consolation as well as the important role of restoring its national character,because of many social problems exploding at that turbulent time.It is still of significance in art circles,introspection to the civilization and history of whole human beings and roots,even if at present.Through analysis for spirituality and appearance,artists and their works of German Expressionism painting affecting other arts,could be concluded by this dissertation that expressing spirit should have been from our cultural origin and soul,where create relative forms,which is the only way that must be passed by the development of painting in China.
