| The idea of social recognition runs throughout Marx’s thinking about individual subjects and inter-subjective relations,and is an important element of Marx’s social philosophy theory.At the same time,meeting the people’s demand for recognition and realising recognition on a social scale is also the main task of China’s construction and development at present.In this regard,the study of Marx’s thought on social recognition and its contemporary value includes the following four main aspects.Firstly,the theoretical sources and the logic of the formation of Marx’s idea of social recognition are explored.On the one hand,the theoretical sources of Marx’s idea of social recognition come mainly from classical German philosophy.Kant first examined the problem of recognition and completed his conception of social recognition around subjectivity and practical reason,in terms of man as an end,the sociality of man’s non-sociality,and the relationship between freedom and morality.Fichte deepens Kant’s thought further,deriving the concept of social recognition from the logical derivation of the intersubjective self and jus cogens.Hegel continues to develop it,ethicalising the problem of recognition,gradually enlarging the field of mutual recognition between subjects and systematising the idea of social recognition ethically.On the other hand,based on the general background of the times in which Marx lived,after the influence and practical reflection of the classical German philosophy of recognition,his social recognition thought was found in the classic works such as The German Ideology,Muller’s Notebooks,Economic Manuscripts 1857-1858 and The Communist Manifesto,which went through a period of formation of the recognition of human beings by productive labour;a period of alienated recognition by criticising capitalist society with a new world view The period of maturation;the period of redevelopment towards universal recognition.Secondly,the main elements of Marx’s thought on social recognition are systematically discussed,namely the elements of social recognition,the critique of the alienation of social recognition and the realisation of social recognition.First,the elemental dimension of social recognition is based on the three aspects of human subjects,productive labour as the carrier and social relations as the main field;second,based on the phenomenon of alienation of social recognition,the critique of alienated labour and alienated interaction,the division of social labour and capitalist private ownership and the domination of life by the logic of capital;third,the realisation of social recognition has gone through three stages,namely religious liberation,political liberation and social liberation,reaching the The aim is to move towards freedom in emancipation.Again,a comparative study of Marx’s thought on social recognition and contemporary Western representative thought on social recognition will provide insight into the real meaning of Marx’s thought.From Habermas’ s theory of the act of interaction,Taylor’s theory of the politics of recognition,Honneth’s theory of recognition and the conception of pluralistic justice,the value of contemporary Western social recognition thought is explored in terms of its revelations and limitations.This leads to a further understanding of the superiority of Marx’s social recognition thought in terms of the scientific nature of the historical narrative,the profundity of the emancipation plan and the firmness of the class position.Finally,in the context of the reality of socialism with Chinese characteristics,Marx’s thought on social recognition is explored for its relevance to contemporary China,highlighting its value of the times.The first is to correctly deal with the current major social contradictions in order to highlight the methodological value of Marx’s thought on social recognition,i.e.to clarify the current major social contradictions and to resolve them in the context of Marx’s social recognition.The second is to improve the theory of social governance in order to highlight the theoretical value of Marx’s thought on social recognition,i.e.to enrich the theory of the subject of social governance in terms of common construction,common governance and sharing,the theory of the object of social governance with the people at the centre,the theory of the principle of social governance oriented by the rule of law,and the theory of the purpose of social governance in terms of realising social autonomy.The third is to achieve a better life in order to manifest the practical value of Marx’s thought on social recognition,i.e.to improve the social catharsis mechanism of interest expression and democratic participation,to improve the social security prevention and control mechanism of prediction and forecasting,professional and efficient,to construct the social supervision mechanism of rule of law protection and pluralism,and to strengthen the social security mechanism of harmony and stability,fairness and justice.Through the methodological,theoretical and practical values of Marx’s thought on social recognition,the ideas are put into socialist modernisation and new impetus is given to Marx’s thought on social recognition in the exploration of the road to socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era. |
