Analysis Of The Soundtrack Of The Epic Fantasy Series Game Of Throne

With the progress of technology and the improvement of living standards,people’s demand for cultural products is increasing.The Game of Thrones series is one of the most popular works of art due to its comprehensive,audio-visual integration and high degree of freedom.Among them,film and television music,as an important element in the auditory elements of the work,can play a role in shaping the characters,promoting the development of the plot,setting the tone of the theme,setting the mood of the atmosphere,national and regional thematic characteristics,as well as causing the association of time and space.The Game of Thrones series,due to the specificity of its subject matter,makes it necessary to create theme music corresponding to different countries and different character personalities in the series,according to the development needs of the plot and the development direction of the characters.In this paper,we will analyze and deconstruct these themes and examine them through thematic juxtaposition,thematic entanglement,and thematic conflict by combining journals,books,master scores,and videos.I hope to summarize the elaboration and development of themes in film and television music works,as well as the special role of music in epic fantasy works,so that the future creative process can be gradually improved.
