From Image Metaphor To Form Ontolog

The contemporary world has entered the "image age" from the "text age".As an important means of information dissemination,image carries the role of narration and expression.With the emergence of news photography in the 20 th century,magazines began to use more popular photos to convey information.The visual revolution brought by this news report inspired Gerhard Richter to create his "fuzzy image painting",and derived various types of work forms.With the development of modern industry,Richter separated his works from the traditional creation mode of painting technology through the experimental attempt of materials and painting tools.It also improves the viewer’s visual aesthetics,sensory experience and spiritual thought.The work challenges the Visual limit of contemporary painting and expounds the unique artistic concept of vision from different angles.It has greatly changed the way of historical reproduction of images,thus redefining the status,practice and possibility of painting.The first part of this paper takes blurred image painting as the main research object,and sorts out the process of Richter’s early artistic development.The second part summarizes the characteristics of postmodernism and the form and development process of Richter’s abstract painting art.The third part analyzes and summarizes Richter’s grid form combined with Andy Warhol’s Pop Art works.This section introduces Richter’s design philosophies for works of art and how these ideas are embodied in the form of his abstract paintings.The fourth part is the introduction of Richter’s installation art combined with the modern digital production mode.The creation of color card painting is an important factor for Richter to move from easel painting to installation art.He hopes to study the meaning of color to painting through color card painting.
