“Twelve scenes of Huashan”is a classic painting album by Dai Benxiao,a Qing dynasty painter.The scale of the painting is relatively small,but it shows the magnificence of Mount Hua,therefore,its space performance in the ink language,balance and the relationship between the virtual and the real have important research value.Taking Dai Benxiao’s twelve scenes of Huashan as a basic case,this paper starts with Dai Benxiao’s life and his painting style,and studies his choice of real scene objects and his arrangement of painting scene space,at the same time,the paper discusses the application of space language in its pictures.And through vertical contrast,combined with a part of Western aesthetician Rudolf Arnheim monograph “Art and visual perception”on the concept of space,to further explore the “Twelve scenes of Huashan”space performance characteristics.Finally,in the process of putting forward problems and solving problems,the author sums up the significance of the creation of space and the expression of space in the picture for the author’s creation,and tries to apply the spatial relations to his own painting creation,it provides a theoretical and practical basis for my future landscape creation.
