The Narrative Research Of Chinese Mainland Crime And Suspense Movies In The 1980s

The 1980s,as the forerunner of the reform and opening-up era,its importance in the development of my country’s modern history is self-evident.At the same time,the1980 s,as the starting point for the re-start of Chinese films,led to a certain extent the direction of Chinese films in the new era.However,for a long time,the academic circle’s attention to the films of the 1980 s has mostly been concentrated on the fifth-generation directors,while little attention has been paid to the commercial films of the 1980 s,and few people have mentioned the crime and suspense films of the 1980 s.This article takes the crime suspense films of the 1980 s as the research object,and summarizes the characteristics and highlights of the 1980 s crime suspense films through the clarification of the concept,the sorting out of the plot structure,the character building and the analysis of the suspense setting,so that more Filmmakers pay attention to this area that needs to be developed.The first chapter of this paper is the introduction part,which mainly summarizes the previous research results through the collection of related literatures such as genre films,crime suspense films,suspense films,and crime films in the 1980 s.The second chapter mainly traces the existence of genre films in the 1980 s through the collection of relevant articles published in the 1980 s and many related documents,and on this basis,clarifies the concept of the research object of this paper,and defines the definition of crime suspense movies.The third chapter of this paper mainly analyzes and discusses the plot structure of crime suspense in the 1980 s,analyzes the film with a three-act frame structure,and summarizes the narrative laws of the film according to Snyder’s rhythm table,and summarizes the crime in the 1980 s.There are three main features of plot structure in suspense movies and their similarity in plot arrangement.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the characterization of crime suspense films in the 1980 s,summarizes the methods used by directors to shape characters,and makes a comprehensive description of many classic character types.he fifth chapter of this paper mainly explores the rules and characteristics of suspense setting in crime suspense films in the 1980 s,and summarizes two methods commonly used by directors to build suspense,namely multi-line narrative and perspective switching.Finally,the conclusion part of this paper reviews the experience and characteristics of the creation of crime suspense films in the 1980 s,and looks forward to the creation of the current Chinese crime suspense films.
