Study On The Expanding Path Of China’s Middle Income Group Since Reform And Opening Up

From the 16 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)in 2002 when it first proposed "expanding the proportion of Middle-income groups" to the fifth Plenary Session of the 19 th Central Committee “in 2035,the per capita GDP will reach the Middle-developed countries,and the Middle-income groups will expand significantly",cultivating Middle-income groups has become a clear ruling goal of the Chinese government.In order to enable China overcome the "Middle-income trap" successfully,form an olive-shaped social structure,and achieve common prosperity,it is of great practical significance and value to start from the expansion path of Middle-income groups,summarize the experience and rules in the expanding Middle-income groups practice after reform and opening up,and explore the practical path of expanding Middle-income groups in the new time.This article will analyze and summarize the historical experience and general laws of CPC in expanding the Middle-income groups by comparing the CPC’s practice paths before and after the 18 th National Congress of the CPC,and provide constructive countermeasures for scientifically formulating the path of expanding the Middle-income groups in the new time.Based on the above ideas,the article is divided into five chapters: The first chapter is the introduction,which lays the foundation for the deep research of the article,specifically explains the background and significance of the topic selection,sorts out the research status at home and abroad,and organizes research ideas and methods.The second chapter starts with the definition of the Middle-income groups,expounds the theoretical basis of the expansion path problems of the Middle-income groups at the present stage,and uses the classic Marxist writers’ theory as the guide to sort out the theories of the past dynasties leaders on social classes,strata,and groups.The third chapter analyzes the development and changes of the Middle-income groups in the two stages before and after the 18 th National Congress of the CPC through vertical comparison,and summarizes the measures taken by the CPC to expand the Middle-income groups.The fourth chapter reveals the general rules of the CPC in expanding the Middle-income groups from the perspective of productive forces,production relations,and superstructure.The fifth chapter points out the problems faced in the process of expanding the Middle-income groups in the new time,then follows the historical rules of expanding the Middle-income groups,and provides constructive ideas and targeted suggestions for improving the expanding Middleincome groups path.
