With the continuous development of digital technology, the cultural industry breaks through geographical restrictions and presents a new trend of cloud aggregation. The national development and Reform Commission also clearly pointed out that cultural enterprises should be promoted to "go to the cloud and use numbers to endow wisdom" and build a platform-based cultural industry cluster. However, there are great differences in cross provincial cooperation under the current cultural industry virtual agglomeration organization. Therefore, this thesis aims to study the formation mechanism, spatial characteristics and regional network relevance of China’s cultural industry virtual agglomeration. So as to promote cross regional cultural enterprise cooperation, benefit the development dividends of cultural industry and promote economic growth.Firstly,it combs the research status at home and abroad, and defines the relevant concepts.Secondly, combined with the formation mechanism of cultural industry agglomeration and virtual agglomeration, this paper analyzes the necessary conditions for the formation of cultural industry virtual agglomeration from three aspects: factor endowment, digital infrastructure and economic environment, and then expounds the boosting effect of cultural industry virtual agglomeration from seven driving factors:positive externality, economies of scale, cultural consumption demand, knowledge spillover, policy incentive, technical factors and industrial division of labor.Thirdly, taking digital cultural technology patents as the research object, this paper depicts and analyzes the virtual agglomeration form of cultural industry with the help of social network method. Finally, the OD cost matrix method is used to map the region of China’s cultural industry virtual agglomeration, and describe the current situation of cross regional cooperation of China’s cultural industry virtual agglomeration.By introducing Hu Huanyong line for further analysis,it is found that the regional mapping of China’s cultural industry virtual agglomeration shows close cooperation in the East and less cooperation in the West.On this basis, this paper studies the network relevance of cultural industry virtual agglomeration with the help of structural hole method.Identify the key provinces of virtual agglomeration of cultural industries. The results show that: at present,China’s cultural industry cooperation presents the trend of virtual agglomeration, and the agglomeration status has obvious small world attribute; The regional mapping of China’s cultural industry virtual agglomeration is heterogeneous, and different provinces participate in cross regional cooperation to varying degrees; Its distribution presents the characteristics of "core edge".Take Beijing and Jiangsu as the center and radiate the whole country.Among them,Tianjin,Jilin and Xinjiang are the key provinces in the virtual agglomeration network.Based on the above research results,it is found that China’s cultural industry presents a new trend of agglomeration on the outgoing line, and its corresponding regional mapping is also unbalanced. This is mainly because there are great differences in resource endowment and digital level among provinces and cities. Therefore,on the one hand,we should promote different regions to participate in the virtual agglomeration of cultural industries, realize cross regional industrial cooperation, and ensure that all regions of the country enjoy the development dividend of cultural industries; On the other hand, establish an orderly cultural industry virtual agglomeration network and cultivate a good cultural industry virtual agglomeration environment.
