With the rapid economic development of China, when people's material lives are protected, they begin to take more attention to the quality of spiritual life, which makes the rapid development of China's cultural industry. At present the development of cultural industry to promote economic development has gradually become a huge potential for growth. Cultural industry has been playing an important role in promoting economic development, improving the quality of life, raising the employment rate and adjusting the industrial structure. However, when the total size of cultural industry is increasing, the development of cultural industry between regions is imbalance. The development of cultural industry of non-equilibrium, will lead the spiritual of the people in backward areas are not fully met, and this will affect people's quality of life and enthusiasm, thereby affect regional economic development. Therefore, measuring and comparing the development of regional cultural industries of non-equilibrium is important for understanding the development and the problems of cultural industries in various regions of China objectively and scientifically.From the current status of research on industrial clusters, the majority of research particularly on the general manufacturing industry cluster, less research has been done on cultural industry cluster. In order to fully understand the conditions and mechanism for the development of cultural industries,, find the defects and shortcomings of current development of cultural industries, the study of the cultural industry cluster is necessary.Therefore, this article selected areal distribution and clusters of cultural industries as the purpose of the dissertation.This dissertation is based on the second national economic census data, use multiple statistical indicators and statistical analytical methods, to analyze all levels and sectors of development and characteristics of the cultural industries. The article is organized as follows: Chapter One:Introduction. This chapter of the article will introduced the research background, the significance of basic topics,full-text content and innovations.Chapter Two:Literature Review. This chapter mainly discusses the domestic and international researches systematically, outstand the innovations of this article on the basis of summarizing the shortcomings of existing researches.Chapter Three:The regional comparison with level classification. This chapter use statistical methods to describe the regional distribution of China's cultural industry with level classification.Chapter Four:The regional comparison with industry demarcation. This chapter use statistical methods to describe the regional distribution of China's cultural industry with industry demarcation.Chapter Five:Analysis of the cultural industry the agglomeration.This chapter ueses the data of Chapter III to calculate the concentration rates and the concentration indexes of various regional cultural industries, and find out characteristics and deficiencies.Chapter Six:Analysis of structure convergence of cultural industry. With the convergence of cultural industry, the structure convergence of cultural industry is inevitable.The article use the structural similartiy coefficient to measure the phenomenon of structure convergence,and to analyze the pros and cons of the development of cultural industries in various regions.Chapter Seven:Policy recommendations. This chapter summarizes the results of the study, and presents some policy recommendations.There are two innovates in this article:First, there are many domestic cultural industry researches, but the definition of cultural industry and estimates range are manifold. This article ues the data of the second economic census, accordance with National Bureau of Statistics 'classification of culture and related industries' standard strictly for classification and analysis. Second, from the current status of research on industrial clustering, the majority of domestic research focused on the general manufacturing industry agglomeration, few studies on the agglomeration of cultural industries, and the researches of domestic cultural industries focus on the total size of cultural industry. Therefore, this article is important for understanding the industrial structure and development of cultural industry in-depth.Through empirical analysis,I found that China's cultural industry is in rapid development, the structure of cultural industries is also reasonable. However, regional differences in the development of cultural industries are quite serious. Development of cultural industries in eastern coastal areas is much higher than the central and western regions. In addition, with the regional development of cultural industries having more and more agglomeration, the phenomenon of structure convergence become very serious, resulting in duplication, waste of resources and other issues.
