The two-dimensional culture comes from Japan.The word comes from the concept of space and refers to the world of two-dimensional planes.With the support of policies,the development of science and technology,and the steady progress of the economy in recent years,the two-dimensional as a new industry and Culture is constantly developing and growing in China.A large number of two-dimensional fans in China have now developed into a specific group,which is gathering and developing with the emergence of animation games.Dolls,models,figures,etc.under the two-dimensional cultural industry are not only tools for fans to play for a while,but also integrated into their lives and become part of their daily lives.As a small branch of subculture,like all existing cultures,two-dimensional culture has its own development process and profound connotation.The tension of its life lies in the continuous improvement of the culture itself and the exploration of deeper connotations.The two-dimensional culture has not been an isolated and autistic existence since its birth.It has continuously intersected with other cultures.Many of the two-dimensional cultural industries,such as animation,games,etc.,are also inspired by all aspects of life.It is closely related to society.The external environment,literature and art styles,film and television works,and public aesthetics influence each other’s development and at the same time have its own unique aesthetic value.It expresses its own demands with carnival,reshapes the freedom of life,and uses entertainment to relieve the fatigue of life and release the pressure of survival.,which perfectly fits the human instinct to enjoy freedom and pursue happiness.Such cultural characteristics and aesthetic tastes are similar to the carnival world described by Bakhtin.Therefore,on the basis of introducing the two-dimensional culture,this thesis focuses on Bakhtin’s carnival theory and the context of popular culture to explore the unique aesthetic value of the two-dimensional culture.It is also hoped that through the study of the two-dimensional culture,its own positive and negative factors will be presented to everyone,so that the public and later scholars can objectively understand and correctly appreciate and treat this subculture.
