A Study On The Dream Narrative In Yuko Tsushima's "Too Savage

Euphemism is one of the important research objects of language application.Whether one can skillfully use and understand euphemism is the standard to measure one’s language level.At present,euphemism has been studied from many angles.Basic work such as definition research,classification research,rhetoric research and so on.Theoretical research such as: pragmatic research,cognitive research,cultural research and so on.In addition,cross-language contrastive research on euphemism and subcategory research on euphemism are also being carried out methodically.The research object of this paper is Chinese injury euphemism,which is one of the subcategories of euphemism.Considering the universality of injury and injury problems,the richness of injury and injury contexts and the diversity of injury and injury euphemism,we believe that it is of certain academic value to explore this kind of euphemism.In addition,the current academic research on injury and injury euphemism is not comprehensive enough in terms of quality and quantity.Therefore,we take this kind of euphemism as the research object of this paper.This paper mainly discusses the euphemism of injury and illness from three aspects,namely,definition study,classification study and cognitive analysis.In the first part,we will combine the current academic research on euphemism to define the protocol euphemism.Before defining it,we will focus on the relationship between euphemism and rhetoric;The relationship between euphemism and cognition;The relationship between euphemism and context and other issues,and strive to define the comprehensiveness.In the second part,we will summarize the collected euphemisms of injury and illness,and classify them from three perspectives: semantic,pragmatic and word creation,so as to make the classification as diverse as possible.In the third part,we will combine prototype category theory,metaphor metonymy theory,language ambiguity and accessibility theory to analyze the cognitive framework,generation means and euphemism mechanism of injury euphemism,so as to ensure the depth of analysis.
