| Since the reform and opening up,the direction of hospital construction and development in my country has tended to be large urban general hospitals. At present, there are two problems in the wayfinding design of such hospitals:one is the large flow of people and the complex space composition, and the hospital wayfinding design fails to effectively express the environment to solve the pain points of patients’ difficulty in finding their way;Second, the hospital guide design lacks practical functionalism and humanistic care, which leads to poor patients’ operational and emotional experience during the medical treatment process.Based on the above problems, this study integrates the concept of caring and interaction design into the design of hospital wayfinding, explores the frame model of the design method of hospital wayfinding, and produces an improved wayfinding plan for real hospitals. The specific contents of this research are as follows:(1)Carrying out detailed desktop research, sorting out concepts and refining design elements in terms of hospital guide design, interactive guide design and the design and application of caring concepts,to guide the follow-up basic experimental design and user research.(2)Design and carry out a qualitative basic experiment of visual perception performance and emotional impact based on the concept of care, and select a combination of colors, graphics, text and images suitable for hospital guide design. Then,it proposes and builds a wayfinding design framework model based on the caring concept to guide the follow-up user research and design practice.(3)Through the qualitative user research method, the hospital environment composition parameters and the basic mode of patient consultation are obtained, the pain points in the consultation process are extracted, and they are clustered into requirements, and then the basic functions that the design needs to have are defined. The priority order of the basic functions required by the patient’s consultation process is analyzed through the Kano model, and applied in the subsequent design practice.(4)Based on the basic experimental results, the model construction part and the user research part to guide the design plan, the service plan with the small program for medical guidance and the interactive electronic screen in the hospital as the design carrier was finally produced;and the HEART model was used to analyze the design plan. The three indicators of pleasure, acceptance, and task completion are psychologically evaluated, and the feasibility and practicability of the scheme are verified from the user’s perspective. To sum up,this study combines the application of caring concept in way finding design, the application of interaction design methods, and the basic experiment of visual perception performance and emotional impact, and proposes a wayfinding design framework model based on caring concept, and conducts a research.Subsequent qualitative user research and program design and evaluation provide relevant researchers and design with theoretical support, user research methods, program design and evaluation processes and other achievements;at the same time, other researchers can continue to explore and enrich the above framework models.Improve and innovate the wayfinding design for more hospitals. |
